With my guys’ encouragement I’d changed so much in such a short amount of time.

I felt strong and beautiful with Aithan.

I felt sexy and successful with Drew.

They shared my heart and took me, as I was, without reservation.

I got out a baking sheet and the parchment paper.

Someday maybe I’d have Tobias in my heart, too. I loved what a devoted dad he was. How he stood up for Amara and made her his priority. Knowing he was out there watching over her so carefully gave me hope. If I ever had a family, I’d want to start it with someone like him.

I put the biscuits in the oven, turned, and watched Drew and Aithan.

Yeah, life had taken some strange twists since the day Tristan turned his nose up at my fatkini. But that skimpy purple suit had opened the door for two incredible men who treasured me just the way I was. Where I saw flaws, they saw perfection.

Maybe if I spent enough time with them worshiping me, I’d learn to see myself that way, too.

I smiled as the two handsome men sitting at my dining table plotted our future together.

Yeah, I can get used to this life.

It definitely wasn’t boring.

ONE LUCKY WOMAN

I startedthe dishwasher then hung the orange dishtowel on the oven handle to dry.

The clock on the microwave read ten-thirty-four, and I yawned. But it became a surprised squeak as Drew’s arms encircled my waist. I hadn’t heard him approach.

He chuckled. “Did I surprise you?”

I nodded and let him pull me back against him. “You were in stealth mode.”

He hugged me with his whole body and pressed a kiss to the back of my neck. Goosebumps pebbled my skin as his lips trailed more kisses up to my ear.

“Come to bed,” he whispered.

I shivered and turned in his arms.

The hunger in his gaze was unmistakable. He pulled our bodies together and his kiss was even hungrier. His hands slipped under my shirt. They drifted up my back, past my bra line, and he smiled against my mouth when he realized I wore no bra. “Easiest access yet.” He walked backwards toward the staircase, taking me with him.

At the top floor, even with Drew’s hands and lips on me, I noticed the light leaking beneath the door to Aithan’s room. He’d gone up to lay down a few hours ago, still tiring quickly and getting headaches from the concussion, still knifed by pain in his chest and back with every breath.

“Wait.” I knocked lightly on the door.

“I think he’s asleep,” Drew whispered.

But Aithan wasn’t. “Come in.” His voice sounded tight.

I opened the door. Shirtless, he sat grimacing in the middle of the bed, propped up by pillows.

“You hurting?” I asked.

He nodded. “Can’t get comfortable. Can’t relax. Can’t sleep.”

For the first time, I got a good look at the damage done by his attacker. The sight was a fucking shock. Bruises covered Aithan’s muscular chest and back. When I’d told Drew someone had tap danced across his chest, I hadn’t realized how close to true that was. Some of the bruises were green and yellow, but many remained black and purple. A round greenish-blue bruise surrounded the healing wound where the emergency room team had pushed a drainage tube between his ribs.
