So why is it that a little bit of my truth is dancing on my tongue desperate to slip out.

“So?” she taunts, completely unfazed by me and my closeness. Well, in the way she should be at least. It’s impossible to miss how dark her eyes are, how fast her breath is rushing past my face.

Unable to resist, I lift my hand and her lust-filled gasp rips around the small storage shed we’re in as I squeeze her breast.A whimper rumbles in her throat, and fuck if it doesn’t get my dick hard.

“You can have that one for free but that’s all you’re getting.”

“It amuses me, sunshine, that you think you’re in charge here.”

Her smirk grows, silently telling me that that is exactly where she thinks the power lies.“You want me. You know what you’ve got to do.”

“You think I’d let you out of here now without taking what I want? That’s really fucking stupid of you.”

“Maybe. Maybe not,” she counters.

My nostrils flare at her attitude.

I could have any of the girls from All Hallows’ in here with me and I guarantee they’d already be on their knees and sucking my dick.

Yet, here Raine fucking stands demanding to know who I really am.

Fuck that.

Fuck. That.

Not even my boys, Millie, know the whole truth behind my motivations. And after all these years, I’m not shattering everything I’ve been working toward by telling some misfit they allowed attend here to suck my secrets out of me, especially without actually sucking me.

“So, what’s it going to be, Teddy?” she asks, tilting her head to the side.

Dammit. I want to refuse. I want to turn my back on her and walk right out that door as if this never happened.

My head screams for me to do it. But the rest of me… fuck, that really wants what she has to offer.

Leaning forward, I let my rough jaw graze her cheek before my breath tickles over her head.

“Theo.” My name is barely a whisper on her breath.

But I hear it.

I hear it loud and fucking clear.

“I’m eighteen soon,” I confess quietly. “I’ve been planning my eighteenth for years.”

“O-okay,” she stutters, confused as to why I’m talking about what she assumes will be a raging party.

“On my birthday, everything changes. And I’m worried about what that means for my future.” For Millie’s future. Although I keep that last bit back. She’s already tangled up enough with my little sister. I don’t need to add fuel to that fire. I’m already risking enough by telling her this much.

“I-I don’t understand,” Raine whispers, her voice cracked with need.

“You didn’t ask for something that did. You asked for a truth. That’s it.”

“But—”

“No buts,” I bark, glancing to the side, spotting something I can make very good use of. “You asked for something. Some might say you begged for it.”

“No that’s— What the hell are you doing?” she balks when I drag her arms behind her back and begin binding her wrists together with the rope.

“Doing exactly what I want with you now that I’ve given you my truth.”
