I hesitate.
Why? Fuck knows.
I should have no issues selling her out, especially if she’s right and there is no evidence of her leaving the dorms last night.
“Raine,” I finally admit.
Elliot's brows pinch together.
“Raine. New girl, Raine? Why would she—”
“She hates Theo. That would be reason enough for some,” Oak says.
“And she didn’t know which car was his, so she went for the whole set,” Reese surmises.
“Can she draw?” Elliot asks.
“Fuck knows. She’s drawn Theo in good if that little one-man show in there was anything to go by.”
“Fuck you,” I snap at Oak when he sits back and smirks at me.
“She says it wasn’t her.”
“And you believe her?” Elliot asks incredulously.
“Fuck no. Go and get your laptop and get the campus CCTV up.”
His brows lift at my demand. His lips part to rip me a new one for even considering bossing him around but Reese cuts him off.
“Just go get it, man. Then we can get our answers.”
“Fine,” Elliot grits out before marching from the room.
The two idiots who are left lounging on my bed continue to study me.
“What?” I bark.
“You fucked up if you left there without getting between her thighs, man,” Reese helpfully supplies.
“I don’t want her,” I seethe.
“So that’s why you’re standing here with us still tenting your boxers, huh?” Oak grins. “You’re still thinking about her.”
“She let you get close and slammed the door in your face.” The smugness on Reese's face makes my fist clench.
“I don’t want her.”
“Okay, we’ll rephrase. You want to fuck her, and you can’t cope with the fact that, unlike every other girl on campus, she hasn’t immediately spread her legs for the great Theodore Ashworth.”
“Shut the fuck up, you’ve no idea what you’re talking about.’
“Do we not?” Oak teases as Elliot returns with his laptop in hand.
Ignoring the tension in the room, he pulls out my desk chair and drops into it.“Where are we looking then? I’ve got the girls’ dorms.”
“Round the left-hand side. Her room is on the second floor,” I say, moving in closer.
