Unlike everyone else in here, both of them have their heads down, uninterested in anything but the conversation they’re engaged in.
Well, that’s about to change.
I step up to their table, engulfing them both in my shadow.
“We’re not interested. Fuck off,” Raine barks without so much as a glance up.
Her ballsy attitude makes me smile. It also makes me want to drag her off her chair and shove her to her knees in front of the entire school.
When I don’t move, Millie is the first one to look up.She gasps when her eyes meet mine before looking back at Raine who’s poking some food around her plate. Her hackles are up as if she’s waiting for a hit.
“Raine,” Millie hisses, giving her little choice but to glance up at my sister.Millie jerks her chin in my direction. It takes Raine a second but after a sigh, letting everyone know she’s not really interested, she looks up.
The second my identity registers, her eyes widen and her chin drops.
“Hey, sunshine. Room for one more?” I ask when she just stares at me utterly dumbfounded.
Well, there goes any hope I might have had about her being pleased to see me and jumping into my arms.
“Theo?” she asks as if I’m not actually standing right here in front of her.
I study her quickly. Her eyes are dark, and her make-up isn’t as perfect as normal.
She’s had a really bad night.
But why?
She was fine when I left.
Reaching out, I thread my fingers through her hair and give her little choice but to stand up.
“Theo,” Millie hisses in horror, but Raine doesn’t fight me.
The chatter in the room dies out even more as they wait to see what I’m going to do.They probably all think that I’m here to punish her.
“What are you doing?” she whispers, her eyes bouncing between mine as if she’s searching for the answer.
I lean in, and she gasps as she understands my intentions.Her hands lift to press against my chest to stop me, but she has no chance. I’ll overpower her any day.
My lips meet hers as a loud gasp sounds out around us.When she doesn’t move, my fingers tighten in her hair and my other hand finds her hip, dragging her tiny body into my much bigger one and pinning her to me.
“Be a good girl, sunshine,” I tease. “You’re mine now, remember.”
She whimpers at my words and the second I push my thigh between hers, she caves.Her lips move against mine as the gossiping around us begins.
Let them have at it. I want the world to know this girl is mine.
“Okay, that’s probably enough now,” Millie mutters as I lick deep into Raine’s mouth, claiming her for every motherfucker in this school to see.
Raine’s hands slide from my chest in favour of threading into my hair, holding me closer.
“Seriously. Guys. Stop,” Millie barks. “People are filming.”
“So?” I mutter into our kiss. “Let them.”
Coming back down quicker than me, Raine pulls away and lets her arms drop.She glances to the side and startles when she sees that Millie is right. People are probably already uploading photos and videos of this little announcement as we speak.
“What are you doing here?” she hisses.
