“Team,” I agree before brushing a soft kiss on his lips.

He’s not satisfied with that though and before I drop down, his fingers twist in my hair, holding me in place as he pushes his tongue past my lips in a filthy kiss.

I quickly lose myself in it, sagging against his hard body and allowing him to hold me up when his other arm bands around my waist.

Long before I’m ready, he pulls back and stares down at me.

“The guys have sent me information and CCTV from some of the locations Luciana gave me.”

“Kristie?” I breathe, hope fluttering inside me.

“I don’t know, Pet. The chances of?—”

“I know. Finding her is a long shot, I’m aware. But we need to try.”

His expression softens.

“We’ll do everything we can, little dove,” JD agrees.

“Finish making the coffee, yeah?” Reid says before taking my hand and pulling me from the room.

The second we’re inside his office, he spins around and pushes me up against the wall.

“Another,” he growls before slamming his lips down on mine.

I’ve no idea what happened with his meeting with Kai, but his kiss is desperate and needy.

His hand slides down my body until he lifts my thigh, wrapping my leg around his waist so he can grind into me.

“Fuck, Pet,” he groans into our kiss.

It lasts for another minute before he releases me and takes a step back as if it never happened.

He drags his hand down his face, his eyes dropping to my feet before raking up my body.

“I’m sorry,” he rasps. “I just… I needed?—”

“It’s okay,” I whisper, pushing from the wall and walking toward his desk. “Show me what you’ve got?” I ask, dragging his heavy chair back.

I look up just in time to catch his smirk.

“Yeah, yeah, very funny. You can show me that later.”

His eyes light up. “Really?”

“Sure. Didn’t say I’d touch it though,” I point out.

Shaking his head, he drops onto his throne and drags me onto his lap.

Unable to stop myself, I wiggle my ass against his obvious erection.

“Pet,” he growls, leaning forward to wake up his computer. “Anyone would think you have other uses for my desk on your mind.”

“Me? Never. It’s a wonderful desk to… work on.”

“Sure.” He chuckles, opening up his emails and locating one from a contact called M.

“Who’s that?”
