"And you look more beautiful now than ever," he says, moving closer. He continues snapping photos of me and Sariah. She's so used to him taking pictures that she doesn't even bat a lash or pay him any attention most of the time. I think she may be more well photographed than the royal babies at this point.

"Sage," I whisper again, melting.

"When our babies are grown and you're missing them, you won't look back at the pictures and worry because you weren't dressed, lamb. You'll look back and smile at the memories," he murmurs. "You'll have a thousand other chances to take pictures looking like a goddess in your makeup and fancy clothes. But you only get to be the goddess pregnant with our boys for a little while longer. And I want you to be able to remember every moment of it."

"You're going to make me cry!"

He prowls toward me, not stopping until he's right beside the bed. He sets the camera on the nightstand and leans down over me. His long hair hangs like a curtain around his face, blocking out everything but him. "You know how much I hate it when you cry," he says, pressing his lips to mine in a soft kiss. "I like my girls happy and healthy."

"You make us so happy," I whisper, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He smiles at me, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Then I'm doing my job right, sweet lamb. Making you happy makes me happy. You're an incredible mother and you look like a goddess when you're carrying my kids. I don't want you to ever forget the miracle you're working right now."

"You're too sweet to me."

"Never," he growls.

"I love you so much."

"I know you do. And I love you and our babies more than anything in this world."

He's not exaggerating. He really does love us with his whole heart and soul. He's all in, all the time, holding nothing of himself back from us. He's as dedicated to being a husband and father as he was to his career for so long, more maybe.

I'll be grateful to Vanna, Jimmy, and Le CRV for the rest of my life for bringing him into it. Georgia too. Without her telling him about me, we may never have met. I'd still be returning to a silent house, living vicariously through my books. Instead, I'm living a dream. And every day just gets better and better.

"You going to hush and let me take pictures now?" he asks me.

"Yes."

"Good." He kisses me again, deepening it this time.

"Eww!" Sariah says after a moment, and then giggles when Sage releases me to grab her. He swings her up into his arms, tickling her belly at the same time.

I grab his camera from the nightstand and snap a picture of them. She's screaming with laughter, and he's smiling ear to ear. Their green eyes shine with happiness. Sariah's hair is as wild as mine, and Sage is in an old t-shirt and a pair of sweats. They're both rumpled and messy and somehow even more perfect than ever.

He was right. Being able to look back on moments like this one is better than any magazine spread. This right hereā€¦this is living. This is perfection.

And I don't ever want to forget a single moment of it.
