“I need to use the bathroom,” he said, moving away from her.

“I’d like to take a bath, if you don’t mind.”

“Of course not. We can share. Give me a second.” He entered the bathroom and shoved the door closed.

After disposing of the condom, he washed his hands. He then stared at his reflection in the mirror above the sink.

No woman would ever compare to her. Shaking his head, he couldn’t help but think he might not have ever met her, and he couldn’t imagine not having her in his life, and that’s where he wanted her. In his life. Permanently.

Blowing a sigh, he opened the door and saw her sitting on the bed. She looked at him and smiled; his heart was so full of love for her, and it scared the hell out of him.

“Come on, darlin’. Let’s get in the tub, then get some sleep.”

“All right.” She stood, walked toward him, kept her eyes on him, and stopped before him.

Brett couldn’t stop himself from touching her hair.

“You are so beautiful.”

“Right back at you.”

He chuckled. “If you say so.”

JoJo laughed and moved past him to enter the bathroom.

As they sat in the tub, Brett rested his chin on her shoulder, then kissed her neck.

“We’ll probably sleep late.”

“It’s almost two. I’m surprised I’m not tired. We can have a lazy day tomorrow.”

“That sounds perfect.” He kissed the spot under her ear. “JoJo?”

“Hmm?”

“What’s JoJo a nickname for?” He chuckled when she laughed.

She sat up and turned to face him, and he had trouble keeping his eyes off her perfect breasts.

“My parents would like you to come for a cookout. Would you like to go?”

“Sure. I’d love to go.”

“Great. My mom is eager to meet you.”

“So, you told her about me, huh?”

“I did. Is that all right?”

“Yes. I told mine about you.”

“You did?”

“Yes, ma’am. She’s anxious to meet you.”

“I’d like that.” She yawned.

“Let’s get out of here and get some much needed sleep, baby.”
