“Goodnight Cam,” I hear Parker call out over his shoulder. I turn around and beam at the man who is setting my entire being aflame.
There is just something about the Madison family that makes me feel seen and loved.
“Goodnigth Parker,” I whisper to his back as I watch him turn the corner.
I take a quick shower before bed and lay there with my eyes closed, hoping sleep will come to me soon but all my mind is thinking of is Parker’s perfect face.
Chapter 12 - Parker Madison
The country club is surprisingly packed to the brim full of people which is not usually the case for board events. The board is only about nine people but it is as if the entire office is here.
I put my right hand on Cam’s lower back and my left hand is holding Maisey’s hand. We decided to bring Maisey along as this is a family friendly event. The pool is open as are the tennis courts so Maisey has a swimsuit underneath her purple dress.
Cam looks brilliant as always wearing a black cocktail dress that ends just below her knees. She looks sexy and I wish we are back home so I can rip the dress off of her.
No. I should not be thinking about these things. Though I had her pussy juices in my mouth last night, I should not be recalling those memories with so many people around. I do not want to have a hard on in the middle of my coworkers.
“Parker Madison, it is about time you showed up,” Earl Cash’s deep voice breaks through the crowd, alerting everyone to turn towards Cam, Maisey, and me.
I swallow, unsure of this unwanted attention.
“Earl, it is great to see you, it's almost as if we weren’t together this whole week.”
This causes Earl and company to laugh. Earl has a tiny blonde woman on his arm who looks to be about the same age as him.
“And who is this beautiful woman?” Earl asks as he directs his attention to Cam.
“Camdyn Schriefer, a pleasure to meet you,” Cam says with an outstretched hand.
Earl’s smile widens as he takes her hand and shakes it.
“Camdyn, this is my wife, Monica, and over there is our son Jerome,” Earl points towards a tall kid in the corner playing on a video game device.
“Come Camdyn, I must introduce you to the rest of the board,” Earl takes Cam’s hand and leads her away and I follow closely behind, picking Maisey up so as not to lose her.
Earl leads Cam towards a table where most of the board members are sitting. I see Lila Strong and Stanley Magnus and their prospective partners. Everyone is introduced to Cam and they all seem enamored by her beauty and wit.
“Camdyn, what is it that you do?” Stanley asks Cam after introductions are made
Cam looks at me and I clear my throat, “Cam was my nanny but we fell in love so now she still helps with Maisey but I don’t pay her as that would be weird.”
This makes everyone tilt their heads in questioning. As it is a weird scenario.
“Interesting,” Lila says.
Everyone makes small talk as Cam makes her rounds saying hello individually to everyone.
Once everyone has been introduced, Lila’s husband Malcolm takes Cam and Maisey for a walk to talk about getting his own nanny. I watch as he leads her away and Lila siddles up next to me.
“Camdyn seems like a great fit for you and Maisey seems smitten with her,” Lila confesses to me.
Lila is not wrong. Maisey and Cam have grown close and I love watching them together, it makes me get all warm inside everytime they interact.
“Yeah, she truly is great,” I say with a longing tone.
“You really love her don’t you,” Lila starts. “We are all happy you have found someone. We know how hard things have been since your late wife's passing.”
