He’s not wrong but don’t go calling a girl out like that. He chuckles as he wraps an arm around me and pulls in. I let him.

“How do you think you can help?” I ask Mac.

But it’s Lizz that leans forward to speak, tossing the knife in the air to catch it and put it back in its sheath.

“He got Rostya's phone number for one, that should be helpful, although it’s likely you’ll only be able to call it once before he blocks your ass or tosses the phone altogether.” She sits back, throwing her arm across the back of the couch and blowing a bubble with her gum before popping it.

“Second, we’re an army in our own right. We can help you train the little crew you’ve enlisted. The girls and I are ready to move, sitting around has us too anxious.”

I nod at her, loving the idea of having more experienced killers on our side. They would be a huge help in training up the hundred and twelve recruits we’ve acquired since calling the round table.

“Boris, do you think we could use the estate to house and train these people?”

“Of course. Mac, could you give me the number so I can keep that with us?”

Mac looks at me first and I nod. Never did I think I would have a place of authority over Boris in a room, but it feels kinda good.

I trust him with that information, and I know he likes to have documentation of our whole plan should we need to change anything last minute.

“Alright, let’s get to planning then.”

???

After a long day of working with Mac and Lizz coordinating the students and rogue league members, I passed out fully exhausted. Lev and Damien came to bed with me, but Alexi said he wanted to keep working.

When I wake up just a few hours later, my voice hoarse and Damien holding me, I try to remember what the dream I just had was even about. I’ve been sleeping so much better lately. I know journaling about the dream is helpful, but I can’t remember what the fuck happened in it.

Lev tucks my hair behind my ear and plants a kiss on my shoulder. “Want to go back to sleep or journal?”

I take a second to answer because I don’t know what I would even journal about, but a flash of something hits me, and I know I won’t be able to sleep until I get to the bottom of it.

After kissing Lev, I turn in Damien's hold to kiss him, noting Alexi isn’t here yet.

“You guys go back to sleep, I’m going to just go and sit on the balcony for a bit.”

They both try to protest, but I can see how tired they are. And if they’re there distracting me, I may not be able to remember what it was that woke me up.

“If you’re good boys and go to sleep, I might wake you up with my mouth around your cocks.”

Lev’s eyes flash with lust while Damien sucks in a harsh breath.

“Yes, ma’am,” Lev says, pulling my lips to his one last time before helping me out from the middle of the bed.

I give them a wink as I leave, but my thoughts race the second I’m out of the door. I take the stairs two at a time, making it to the first floor.

Before I even register what I’m doing, my feet are on the cool tile of the kitchen. Alexi is at the table with his laptop out, eyeing me as I approach.

“Don’t talk, need to think.”

He nods, not arguing at all. Kudos to my broody man. The one thing I can always count on is his silence. I grab a pen and my notebook and get to writing all the things I can remember.

Soon enough, the scene plays on repeat in my head. At first, I thought it was just my mind messing with me, but the more I focus on it, the more it becomes a memory and not a dream.

“Oh fuck,” I whisper, causing Alexi to look up.

“May I speak?”

I don’t say anything, caught up in my memory, replaying something I really don’t want to have to tell them. But I know I need to. Then, another thought hits me.
