Maybe I should fire him? How can someone with no backbone or brains work in the HR department?

“I asked, for how long is she going to be out?” I pronounce each work slowly so his slug brain can catch up.

He clears his throat, “At this moment, she asked for one month’s leave, but we can’t be sure when exactly Sydney can return.”

“Fucking great.” I slump back into my seat, and only after a second deliberation do I devise a new game plan. “Fine, pay Miss Hall for this month but notify her that her contract is terminated, and she is no longer required to return here.”

“Um, I’m not sure if that’s possible.”

I fix him with my death glare, and he visibly shrinks into the leather seat even deeper. “If I said so, it is possible. Am I clear? Or do I need to terminate another contract right now?”

Cole swallows nervously. “Mr. Locke, there are rules and regulations in place. I have to see if we are sticking by the book for this matter.”

Okay, yes, this guy needs to go too. But I’ll wait. I don’t have the patience to deal with it right now. I have to find a new PA in the next twenty minutes before my creative team meeting starts.

“Section D, paragraph 3: An employee of Fashion Linc Inc. may be released from his/her contract due to the employee no longer being able to perform job duties because of the non-work-related injury, absenteeism, or his/her prolonged absence creating a hardship for the employer. Additionally, the employer is not obligated to compensate the said employee for this matter and can do it at will.”

Cole looks at me like a deer in the light, as he should because I just did his job for him and stated the contract word by word.

“Was that clear enough, Mr. Friser?”

“Yes, Mr. Locke, I apologize for not remembering that part myself.”

“Apology accepted, but by this time tomorrow, you will recite the entire contract to me. No questions asked. And do as I said, send Sydney her salary for this next month and make sure she signs all the necessary documents.” See, I can be nice. I realized my ex-PA needed this money, and I exercised my will to give it to her. As for Cole, who now looks ash white, he needs to learn his lesson.

You don’t ever come unprepared into my office. Ever.

I will crush you.

Am I an asshole?

Abso-fucking-lutely.

Am I a fair asshole?

Damn right, I am.

Do I give a shit that everyone in this building and beyond it cowers in my presence?

Not even a bit.

I have enough on my plate to deal with that. I’m not here to please them. They are here to please and worship me. To do as I say.

And speaking of pleasuring me, it just walked through the door.

“Oh, sorry, Mr. Locke. I thought we had an appointment scheduled at this time,” she says in her nauseating sweet voice, batting her eyes at me.

“We are done with Mr. Friser, Anna; come on in.” I look at Cole and motion for him to get his ass moving.

I only have five minutes for my own pleasure, and I’m sure as hell not wasting it on him.

He scrambles to get all his stuff and hurries out the door.

“Don’t forget Cole, tomorrow by this time.” He nods and shuts the door behind himself. “Now, where were we?” I ask my current pleasure giver.

Anna comes over to me, sits her pretty ass in my lap, twists her arms behind my neck, and starts nibbling on it. “I think we were right here, Mr. Locke,” she says with that same voice.

Fuck, I’ll have to get rid of her soon. She is beautiful with her long, slick brown hair, big brown eyes, and legs that are miles long. She is my usual type for the pleasure giver but that freaking voice.
