“I might be older than you and I can imagine,” he said, and I identified a hint of regret in his voice.

“What do you mean? Do you not know how old you are?”

“I don’t.”

“But that... doesn’t make any sense.”

I stopped what I was doing and settled on his lap. My core throbbed for him, and I wanted to reach between us and touch him, but I held back. This conversation was more important than my sudden lust.

“Aura, I have to tell you something.”

“Okay.”

“I don’t know how old I am, and I also don’t know who I am. Presumably, I’ve been here since before the Shift.”

I paled. “But the Shift was so long ago!” We learned about it in history class.

“Yes. When it happened, I lost my memory. Completely. Well, not completely. I could remember this one thing, this one word.”

“What’s the word?”

“Krampus.”

“Oh. Your name.”

“That’s the thing... I don’t know if it’s my name or the name of my species. After things settled down and humans and monsters started rebuilding the world, I looked far and wide, trying to find someone like me. I thought... I must have a community too. A clan, a family... something. I found nothing.”

“Oh, I’m so sorry.” I placed my hands on his face. “I can’t even imagine how it must have been for you all this time, living here alone.”

“Yes. Well, I got used to it. When I found this place, I fell in love with its beauty. It was isolated, and that was good, because I soon learned that humans were afraid of me. Humans are used to seeing monsters all around them, but those are monsters they know, monsters that... make sense. I was unique, and they never accepted me. When I moved here and built the cabin, the town at the foot of the mountain didn’t exist. When humans started building houses and moving in, I wanted to flee at first. Find another place. But then I realized it would be hard to find a place as good as this one, so I stayed. The first time I went into town, I fully expected to be shunned. I expected people to throw rocks at me, but they didn’t. They allowed me to walk around and shop in their stores. My credits were just as good as theirs. They let me know immediately that they didn’t feel comfortable with me there, but they didn’t make me leave. So, I thought... it wasn’t so bad. In time, they might come to accept me.”

“Did they?” I didn’t know why I was asking this question. I already knew the answer.

“No. Not really. They don’t bother me, and I don’t bother them. They only talk to me if they must. It’s fine. I’m grateful they never come near my cabin, because if they wanted to, they could run me out of my own home.”

“They would never do that!”

And I believed it. They would make up stories about him, and how he was the monster who ate children if they were naughty, but the townspeople would never be so cruel as to shun Krampus. He’d done nothing to them. It wasn’t his fault humans were so fearful and superstitious. I promised myself right then that I would never tell him about the stories they’d made up to scare their kids into behaving. I was most definitely never going to tell him my own parents had used them to make me go to bed early.

“So... now you know,” he said.

“But that doesn’t mean you’ve never done this before,” I said, letting my hands once again explore his big, muscular chest. I moved lower and lower until I reached his fly and resumed unbuttoning his pants. “You just don’t remember. I can’t be your first. You’re mine. But it’s such a stretch to believe I’m yours.”

“I don’t know, Aura. If I don’t remember, then it’s like it never happened.”

“I guess so...”

Buttons finally undone, I reached inside his pants and touched his cock. Oh my, it was long and thick, and frankly... there was a fair chance it was as big as my arm. I shuddered at the thought. It was going to hurt, but I still wanted him inside me.

“Aura...” He tried to stop me by wrapping his fingers around my wrist.

“Don’t you want this? I’m your bride. Don’t you want me?”

“I do, but...”

“What?”

He said nothing. I continued to stroke him gently, simply exploring his cock. It felt... unusual. Like nothing I’d expected, for sure. The head was smooth, but the length seemed to be covered in deep ridges. It was also a bit harsh to the touch, like it was covered in the same fur that covered his body, albeit it was sparser here.
