Beneath her, she felt his entire body react and power surged through her again. “You sure?”
Her laugh was strangled. “So sure.”
Still his lower hand didn’t move further. His other hand slid up her body and reached her neck. He tilted her head forward until their gazes met.

Those deep, dark eyes practically glowed and then his hands moved to slide the zipper down the dress and lift it over her head. She wore nothing underneath it because it had a built-in shelf bra and she wasn’t exactly over-endowed.

The thought had been sneaking up on her for days. In some ways, she wondered if she’d been falling for him since Atlanta. It didn’t matter where it had started, it only mattered that it had happened.

He grinned and yanked the t-shirt over his head in a smooth move. The boots and jeans followed in short order. Then the boxer briefs flew and he was gorgeously naked in front of her.
She was a doctor. She knew the human form. Joe was a gorgeous specimen of the species. And he was hers. Lia sat and started to reach for him, but he shook his head and stayed back. “You start touching that and I’m going to embarrass myself.”
