Fuck…Loïc?

Was I hallucinating?

My heart pounded in my ears, and all I could do was stare at him in shock.

What the fuck was he doing here?

Grinning, he crawled closer, staring at me through the glass.

What was he doing? He looked…unhinged.

Droplets of rain fell from him onto my water speckled windshield. I held my breath, feeling like I was being watched by a predator.

He leaned close, and a gasp parted my lips as he dragged his tongue over the glass. I could almost feel his tongue on my skin. I shuddered, then rubbed the heel of my hand over my thickening erection.

He said something, but the sound blended with the hiss of rain behind him.

Laughing, he slid off my hood and bolted across the street. A car almost hit him, and the driver leaned angrily on the horn.

I jumped out of my SUV, but the park across the street had swallowed him whole.

Not knowing what else to do, I got back in and drove home, half expecting him to be there even though he had no way of knowing where I lived. He’d gotten my work address from my business card, of course.

He wasn’t waiting on my front step when I arrived home.

I waited long into the night, alone.

By morning, I wasn’t sure any of it had even happened. Tarryn was of the opinion that I’d had an involuntary microsleep and dreamed about him, incorporating him into the real world.

What he’d done didn’t make sense, she’d said.

But it had seemed so real.

When stopped at a light on my way back to work the next morning, the sun glinted off my hood.

Dents.

The motherfucker had left dents in my SUV.

I hadn’t been asleep after all.

Fear sang in my veins.

He’d come for me instead of calling Tarryn. What had that even been about?

I pulled over to text my girl, not caring that I was going to be late for a meeting.

[Me] It was real

[Me] He dented my hood

[Nymph] What the hell?

[Me] So weird. He never came back either

[Nymph] What do you think it was about?

[Me] I still don’t know
