Chapter Nineteen: Tarryn

One minute I was lifting my foot to get into my car, and the next a strong arm was wrapped around my waist, a hard hand covering my mouth.

I screamed against the hand, kicking, struggling—but the arm was immovable, like a seatbelt that had tightened too far and refused to let go. The chuckle against the back of my neck made me whimper in fear. My entire body buzzed with fight or flight, so I kept struggling as he planted me facedown over the hood of my car. I fought like hell as he got between my legs, trying to claw his eyes without being able to see what I was aiming at.

“It’s me.” The words and the voice together meant nothing. My brain trying to reconcile the voice as Valor—who else would do this to me?

Me, who?

My hand found the mask covering the man’s face, and I yanked it down, caught a flash of pale silver eyes.

Wolf eyes.

Fucking Loïc.

Even knowing it was him, my heart didn’t slow.

“Let me go!”

“Never.” His voice was filled with amusement, like this was the funniest joke he’d ever played.

“Do you have any idea how scary that was?” I tried to slap him, but I wasn’t at a good angle, and he deflected my hand at the last minute.

“That was the idea.”

“I don’t like being scared!”

“You wouldn’t want to sleepwalk through your morning.”

“I’m fucking awake! Get off me!”

His chuckle against my ear was warm, suggestive. “Get off in you? Such a good girl, asking to have her pretty pussy filled with cum.”

How…how could he make me simultaneously scared, angry, and wildly horny?

He wedged himself between my thighs even as I tried to stop him. I didn’t want to encourage him, but my stupid body—now that it knew who was manhandling me, was willing to play the game.

“Your body knows what it wants.”

I groaned inwardly.

“Should I fuck you raw so you can feel me dripping out of you for the rest of the day?”

My hips tilted of their own accord, a silent invitation. “Security guards are going to come down here any minute to shoot you.”

“First of all, this isn’t America. Second of all, there are no cameras in this part of your parking garage.”

“There has to be!”

“And yet there isn’t. I checked. You really shouldn’t be parking here.” He lifted the back of my skirt and hummed in appreciation as he ran hisfingers over my panties. For the life of me I couldn’t remember which ones I’d put on, but it didn’t matter anyway because he yanked them down.

He fondled me, grabbing a hard handful of my ass, then letting go and smacking it. He growled. “I was away too long. I missed you.”

I rolled my eyes even though his words made me melt. “Did you miss me or did you miss my ass?”

“Both, of course. I spent time with your husband’s ass while I was gone, but yours is so full and round, and it makes me want to sink my teeth into it.”

“You should write commercials for apples.”
