I might like a spanking. ;P

Your Man

For that, not only will you get a spanking, but you’ll be begging me to let you come when I eat your pretty little cunt.

I blush at his words and look around expecting someone to see me. I drop my phone back in my bag and walk out of my room.

“I told you she is my daughter, and I will make a match for her, you won’t. I don’t care if he’s an enemy of yours or the Revellos. He said a union will make a truce with the families.” My father’s angry voice comes from the formal living room. If they were in the breakfast nook, I could have made my escape. But I can’t walk past their location without being seen.

I lean against the wall behind me that leads to the wine cellar and supports the large circular staircase. I try to sneak around, hoping they have their backs to me, but no such luck. My father is facing me, and I watch as his body language instantly changes. The action reminds me of Dario’s father, Giuseppe, before he died. Hate and anger are visible in his eyes.

“Come here, Daughter,” he orders me, and I step across the hall and into the living room. Luna is seated on the sofa, herhand rubbing her belly. Dario had his back to me originally. He looks around me as if he’s expecting someone else, but then he relaxes. I need to talk to him. He had to have known Spencer was with me. Spencer told me to trust Dario.

“Sì, Papà.” I acknowledge him as I move toward him.

I’m almost to him when I feel Dario’s hand gently grip my elbow. He’s holding me back. I try to figure out what’s going on, but I can’t. I’m missing something very important, and when I see my father react to Dario stopping me, I realize that I need to figure it out right away.

“Who were you with last night?” My father’s voice has an edge to it.

“No one. I snuck out.”

My father’s body tightens, coiling, ready to come at me. “No. Who brought you home? Who was with you?”

“Dario came to get me. Ask him who the guards were who were with him.” I sass him. Dario’s hand flexes along my arm.

“Daughter, don’t make me punish you by cutting you off. Who were you with? What took you so long to get out here?”

“I took a shower, and as I said, ask Dario who I was with. I don’t need your money.” I pull away from Dario and turn to leave, but I’m grabbed from behind. My father fists my hair, pulling me back. Tears pop to my eyes.

“Carbone, let her go, now.” Spencer’s voice fills the room.

“I knew you were behind this. I told you what would happen if I caught you around her,” my father spits.

“Vincenzo, this is my house. This is my family. Let her go. Now.”

“No.” My father presses the unmistakable muzzle of a gun into my side. He twists us around as soldiers walk into the room. I know they are my father’s, not Dario’s. I look at Spencer and watch his jaw tighten under his scruff when he sees the tearsrolling down my face. “She is leaving with me. Her engagement party is tonight. She must marry Mustafa.”

“I’ll marry her,” Spencer says and takes a step toward me.

My father digs the gun deeper into my side, causing me to wince.

I don’t know what is going to happen, but Spencer needs to know the truth. I mouth, “I love you,” to him as I’m dragged from the room. I’m thrown into the back of my father’s car, and we are speeding off.

“Did he take your virginity?” My father backhands me across the cheek.

Spencer

I’m livid. How dare he take her from me.

“What the bloody hell was that?” I throw out my arms. “Where are your guards? Why didn’t they stop him?” I stomp off toward the entrance and watch my girl leaving. “I need to get her back.”

“You can’t right now. He’ll hurt her. She is a means to an end for him, and we need to figure out why before we can go get her.” Dario’s hand lands on my shoulder, and I shake it off.

“I can’t do that. You figure it out. I’ll figure out how to get her back on my own. You can’t go against the board, or you’ll lose their confidence.” I turn and see his wife standing there.

“There is a party tonight to celebrate her engagement. I’d suggest you both crash it in different ways. Dario, you go andmake sure the members know you didn’t approve this, and, Spence, you go and get her out of there.”

“Call him out in front of them?” Dario looks thoughtful for a moment.
