It was a lot more complicated than that, but I was still reeling from her call, and I’d told her I’d keep it to myself.

“Oh, well. Maybe another time.”

I nodded. Maddie waved goodbye to the guys and let herself out the back gate.

All the guests were gone. We were finally alone.

Before anyone could ask what was going on, I grabbed a few bowls of food and headed into the kitchen. They each did the same. Soon we were all busy washing dishes or putting away leftovers.

3…2…1…

Griffin asked first. “What is it, princess?”

I shrugged. “I got a wild call from Tiffany. And another call from my doctor.”

All clean-up activity stopped. Michael stood from putting away his grilling tools. Ben turned his back to the refrigerator, letting the door swing shut. Griffin wiped his soapy hands on a dishtowel. A pulse of nervous anticipation zinged along the bond.

“You guys are really interested in what’s going on with Tiffany, huh?”

I was met with three icy stares. They didn’t appreciate my humor.

“Oh, fine.” I took a breath. “The doctor confirmed I’m officially off birth control.” The air in the room instantly changed, but I had one more detail to share. “And I’ve been using suppressants today because I’m getting my heat.”

All of them seemed to need a minute to digest that. Michael reacted first, and his grin was contagious.

“We’re gonna get you pregnant, sweetheart.”

“That’s the idea.” My answering smile was so wide, my cheeks ached.

Griffin moved, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me close.

“Are you okay?” I asked. His emotions through the bond were a complete jumble.

“I love you so much, Tracy. You’re going to be a fantastic mother.”

“And you’ll be a fantastic father.” It was the right thing to say. I felt him relax a little.

Michael and Ben came up behind me, and I was encircled by their arms too, surrounded on all sides by my alphas. Purrs rumbled through their chests. The bond lit up with love and excitement.

Ben kissed the side of my head. “So, you’re having your heat? Right now?”

I laughed and nodded against Griffin’s chest. “Yeah, the suppressants are wearing off. I know this is kind of sudden.”

We’d been talking about trying, but the timing of my heat was sooner than I expected. Cramping had started yesterday. I’d put off mentioning it until I heard from the doctor.

The past hour had been a challenge, even without Tiffany’s call. As if on cue, my perfume became noticeable.

Griffin’s hands tightened around my waist, and the grip of his fingers made me moan.

I needed them.Now.

The nest was upstairs, and Griffin must have decided I couldn’t walk. The other guys steppedback as he picked me up in a bridal carry. I was too needy at that point to care—not that I would normally complain about that kind of thing. Ben jogged up the stairs ahead of us while Michael followed behind.

Griffin moved quickly through our master suite and into the small room attached to it, laying me down on the soft, cushioned floor. They’d put the nest together exactly as I envisioned it, with dim lighting and fluffy pillows in shades of lavender. It was quiet here, comfortable and secure.

I whimpered, and three pairs of hands were on me, taking off my clothes.

“We’ve got you, baby,” Ben soothed. “If we’d known you needed us like this, we would have sent everyone home.”
