"Hey, it's family," Caleb answers, grinning. "Wouldn't miss finding out about my new niece or nephew for the world."

Weston turns to me. "Babe, this is my brother Caleb and his girlfriend Kelly. Guys, this is my better half," he says, gesturing to me with a proud smile. I extend my hand, a friendly smile on my face. "It's nice to finally meet you."

"Quinn, oh my gosh!" I hear my name called out excitedly and turn to see Lily weaving through the crowd toward me. I spin around and hug her. "Hey there, girl!" I greet her.

She steps back, her gaze falling on my tiny baby bump, and she gently rests her hand on it. "I seriously can't believe you're having a baby!" Then, noticing the others, her smile broadens. "Oh, and who are these lovely people?"

"This is the man I can't stop talking about," I say, nodding toward Weston and he gives a quick. "Hello."

"This is Weston's brother, Caleb," I point out. He nods.

"And Caleb's girlfriend, Kelly," I add and she waves briefly.

"Nice to meet you all," Lily says just as my mother calls us to the center of the room for the moment everyone's been waiting for.

Weston takes my hand and leads the way.

"It's time," my mother announces, her voice carrying over the chatter. The guests' attention turns to us.

In the center of the room stands a beautifully crafted, oversized, antique box, elegantly wrapped in a big white bow. The room falls silent, all eyes fixed on the mysterious box as my mom hands me a small, ornate key. With a deep breath, Weston and I step forward. I insert the key and turn it. As the lock clicks open, the room holds its breath. Slowly, the sides of the box begin to fall away, revealing a spectacular, miniature hot air balloon basket inside. Suddenly, the balloon begins to go up with a quiet whoosh. It's a beautiful, dark blue and shines softly from inside. A cascade of shimmering blue confetti and tiny, whiteLED stars that float gently down over us like a magical, starry sky.

The balloon rises until it hovers just below the ceiling, a banner unfurling from its basket with the words "It's a Boy!" written in elegant script. The room erupts into cheers and applause.

I turn to Weston, tears shimmering in my eyes. "You won the bet. We're going to have a Weston Jr.," I whisper.

He laughs softly. "There's nothing else I could want more," he replies.

As the last of the blue confetti drifts around us, Weston suddenly steps back. The chatter and laughter around us seem to fade as he reaches into his pocket. Then, with a deep breath that seems to draw the attention of every person in the room, he lowers himself to one knee.

From his pocket, he pulls out a small black box. As he opens it, the light catches on the beautiful diamond ring inside, sending sparkles dancing across the walls. "From the moment we met, you've been my guiding star," Weston begins. "You've brought light, love, and laughter into my life in ways I never imagined possible. With you, I've found a deep love, a solid partnership, and an endless joy."

He takes my hand, his gaze never leaving mine. "I promise to cherish you, to support you, and to be by your side through every twist and turn our journey takes. Together, we're starting a new chapter, not just with the little one we're about to welcome but as partners, and as a family. Quinn, will you marry me?"

Tears of happiness stream down my face. "Yes, baby," I say through tears.

Weston slips the ring on my finger, and the room erupts into cheers and applause, but all I see is him, the man I love, the father of our child, and now, my fiancé.

He stands up and pulls me into his arms. "I love you, Quinn."

I smile as I wrap my arms around his neck. "I love you too, Weston."

The end.
