“Okay,” he says, drawing the word out a bit. “I was just going to let you know that you’re clear to be moved upstairs. They’ll most likely keep you overnight to make sure there are no infections that pop up or other complications.”

“Are Thor and Ethan cleared to move upstairs yet?”

“Yup. Thor’s already on the move. I verified that his meds and everything were correct and put a nurse I trust with him. Smoke’s keeping a lookout for him right now. Allison just started prepping Ethan and I’ll get you ready. Levi, can you grab his things out of the cupboards over there?”

As Patch double-checked my IV bags, I noticed he wasn’t dressed in his scrubs anymore.

“You off the clock now?”

“Yeah, but since I figured we’ll be talking soon, I offered to help take you upstairs to free up one of the nurses down here.”

I watched as Spitfire bundles up my stuff into a plastic bag and I hate when she puts my cut in the bag. I don’t feel right not wearing it. She gives me a tight smile when she’s done. I pray I’m wrong about Travis’ intentions, but my gut tells me I’m right.

For the last hour or so, the rest of our brothers have cycled through to talk to us. They wheeled Ethan in here so it would be easier to talk to everyone. I’m so damn fucking tired, but I know we aren’t even close to being done discussing this shit.

Creed had been talking to Smoke over in the corner most of the time and I’m betting he gave him the other evidence from his cameras. He left about ten minutes ago.

Wildcat’s been edgy and talking quietly with Sasha the whole time. I’ve noticed Dragon looking over at her worriedly as well as Patch, which has me wondering what the hell is going on.

For our guards, Alexei will be in our room with Judge and Bear outside. Timber is going to be in with Ethan. Gunner and Axe will be outside his room. They’ll sleep in shifts until we’re let go, which the doctors think could be tomorrow morning.

Finally, everyone left except for the guards, Patch, Sasha, Colt, and Phoenix. Ethan’s still in the room too and he and Alexei have been sucked into whatever conversation the women are having.

“Okay, will someone please tell me why you two are acting jittery and nervous?” I ask, my gaze bouncing between Dragon and Wildcat.

“I think we might have missed something,” Dragon starts. He looks over at the Spitfire and her shoulders fall.

“Will someone please fill in the rest of the class?” My tone comes out snappy, but dammit, I’m tired, in pain, and I’ve barely gotten to touch Wildcat since she came in here.

“Dragon thinks Travis either likes or maybe even is in love with me,” Levi says.

They fill the rest of us in on what they talked about down in the ER as well as showing us the pictures.

“Over the years, I’d noticed that he would always watch both Sasha and Levi closely whenever we were together. He never mentioned to me that he liked either of you, but it looked like he did,” Ethan says.

“Same here, but his gaze always lingered longer on Levi. There were times where it was downright creepy in high school and I called him out on those,” Alexei says as he shivers.

“Creepy how?” Levi asks in disbelief.

Glad someone asked cause if they didn’t, I sure as hell was going to.

Alexei runs a hand through his hair, shifting a little like he’s nervous or really uncomfortable. “A couple of times when we were swimming.” However, he doesn’t elaborate on what Travis did, though I can imagine. I’ve seen Wildcat in a bikini and damn, was the sex hot that night.

Ethan clears his throat, also seeming uncomfortable. “You weren’t the only one. I shoved him into the pool more times than I can count in hopes you wouldn’t see him hard.”

Levi covers her face as her cheeks heat. “Thank you for that. I would definitely not have wanted to see his boner. I always saw him as a brother, well, not any more of course. He’s cute, but not my type.”

Sasha nods in agreement.

“Alexei and Ethan, I hate that I even have to ask, but I just want to get it out in the open. Both Levi and Sasha are in relationships. That’s not going to cause any issues with either of you, is it? Neither one of you are gonna turn into a psycho because they aren’t with either of you?” Phoenix asks and I give him a minute chin lift in thanks.

Almost in sync all four of their faces screw up and all of them slightly shudder, as a resounding ‘nope’ sounds from all four in sync.

Laughter rings out, and I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I’d been holding.

“These two are my brothers, and I’d only have an issue with whomever they date if she is a manipulative, lying bitch.” Levi says.

“Same,” the others say in agreement.
