I try to hold in my laughter on this one because he seems really nervous about the thought of having girls. “Or maybe they’re so certain it’s boys that they’re trying to use up the pink dust.”

He cocks his head as he thinks about it for a minute before he looks back at me. “You don’t think that’s the case, do you?”

“Abso-fucking-lutely not. I think they’re hoping for girls to see how you both will handle them. However, eventually, someone’s going to have a daughter someday, so if that’s the case, then you can do some karma paybacks later on.”

“Huh, I didn’t think of it that way,” he muses and then sighs again when another round of cheers goes up. “Come on, Wildcat. Let’s get to the appointment. The others should be at the clubhouse by now. Nikki and Sadie are going to meet us there. Your SUV is already up there. Judge had Drae change your oil, then sent him off to wash it and then detail it.”

I giggle. “I’m guessing he couldn’t take it to a carwash to have them do it, huh?”

Thor smirks at me. “Nope, it was all done by hand, Wildcat. Now let’s go before I drag you back upstairs and we miss the appointment.”

He takes my hand, and we walk to the clubhouse. Bastion comes running from somewhere and joins us on the rest of our walk. He’s been a good addition to the club and is very protective of everyone. He’s also alerted us of trouble a few times when the club would have parties on the weekends.

Not too long after the hang arounds arrived, Bastion cornered a couple of them and alerted us. Ryder and Dragon searched the people in question each time they found drugs on them. They were banned from coming back and the drugs were flushed. Though Bastion wouldn’t relax until the toilet bowl was cleaned and the bag was tossed into the garbage and then that garbage bag was taken out to the dumpster.

Rounding the corner to the clubhouse, I sigh when I notice Erin is already in the car waiting for us. I want to know who put those self-conscious thoughts into her head and beat them up. Yes, Erin has curves, but damn are they the good kind. That woman is smoking hot, and I’ve noticed Phoenix eyeing her appreciatively. It will be interesting to see how things with both him and Ryder end up with their women of interest.

As I step out behind my car, I bite my tongue to keep from giggling because, speaking of the devils, it looks like we have two more additions to guard detail. Both Ryder and Phoenix are on their bikes, waiting to head out. I wink at Ryder since he’s closer and I’m momentarily shocked when I notice him blush. Okay then.

“Is everyone ready to go?” I call out.

Sasha squeals and launches herself at me, hugging me until she dips down and talks quietly to my babies. Colt grins at me as he shakes his head before turning to go to his bike, seemingly content that the babies will almost always come first. For now, that is, unless they decide to have kids someday.

“Now remember what we talked about, lil’ bikers. Side with Auntie Sasha on the gender.” She winks up at me and I bite my lip. She stands and pats her cut, making sure she has everything with her. Yup, not too long after I was patched in, she put her name in the hat to prospect, which was accepted.

A few guys lounging on the deck of the clubhouse raise their beers at me and smile mischievously. They’re all on ‘team girl’.

I don’t think my men know, but there’s a bet going around as to what the genders will be. Sasha is routing for twin girls and that’s where my money is too. It’s just a feeling, but we’ll see later tonight if it’s right or not.

“Alright, ladies, let’s get in the car!” I call out. Even though Sasha could ride with the guys, she opted to be in the car for added protection, but I’m also sure a good dose of that is more girl time.

Walking to the driver’s side, I give Bastion a good scritch. “Backyard,” I say as I stand and then watch as he bounds off toward the guys back there.

Twenty minutes later, I pull into a parking spot as close to the door as I can get. I still have momentary panic attacks when I come here, but it’s gotten a lot better. As I put the car in park, I remind the women of our rule, since Allison and Erin don’t always ride as a group with us.

“Remember ladies, don’t open your doors till we get the signal.”

“Oh, that’s right,” Erin replies and lowers her hand from the door.

Dragon gives the signal and Thor opens my door. Colt gets Sasha’s and Thor grins at me when Ryder gets Allison’s door and Phoenix gets Erin’s door. Once Roxy exits, since she was in the middle, the guys close ranks around us as we head into the doctor’s office. Though, a few men stay outside watching my SUV and the bikes.

In the waiting room, we get a lot of looks as the men fan out around the room in groups.

“Hello, Levi! Ready to find out what you’re having today?” Elaine asks me as I sign in. Elaine is Dr. Rowen’s wife. She was with another patient on our first day, so we never met her then, but she started taking more shifts at the front desk ever since Daphne was let go. We’ve gotten close over the past few months, and we invited her and her husband, whose first name is Curt, to the party tonight.

“Yes, I can’t wait!”

She leans in closer. “I’m rooting for team girl.”

I bite my cheek to keep from laughing as I look over my shoulder, but the guys are watching the exit with Smoke. I lean in closer to her. “So am I.”

She gives me a thumbs-up as I turn and walk over to the guys. As I approach, Dragon gives me a weird look.

“What was that about?”

“She was telling me her guess for what genders the babies will be and I told her mine.”

He pouts. “You’re still not going to tell us your guesses?”
