Sunshine told me a little about their talk and that she gave him a piece of her mind when he said no one would want him because of his scars. Maybe he’s taking her words to heart. If anyone deserves to be happy, it’s him after all the shit he’s been through.

A whoop sounds and I look over to see Thor and Dragon looking at something on Thor’s phone. They look up at me and grin.

My phone vibrates and I pull it out.

Mae: Will you marry me tomorrow?

Timber: Fuck yes, Sunshine. I’d marry you tonight if I could. Fuck, I would have married you the day I first saw you.

She sends me a bunch of heart emojis and I chuckle.

Mae: Love you.

Timber: Love you, too, Sunshine.

More whoops and hollers go up, but there’s nothing that’s going to shake the smile off my face.

All of a sudden, music starts up and Loki and Punisher both start singing‘Another One Bites the Dust’by Queen, which has everyone in an uproar.

Well, fuck. I watch them in shock as they both sing the entire song. Loki even busts out some moves. I had no idea the fuckers could sing, let alone that they were that good. Based off a few other looks, I know I’m not the only one shocked at this revelation.

“Get your asses up here for some shots,” Phoenix yells after the song ends.

Once everyone has their drink, Phoenix whistles to quiet everyone down again.

“Not only is our fearless leader and our enforcers tying the knot tomorrow, but Timber and Lil’ Bit will be as well. You fuckers know I’m not good at making speeches and all that shit, but here goes nothing.

“All three of you have found women that have made you all better men. Though why they want to be chained to your ugly mugs for life, I’ll never know.” Laughter rings out at his statement, but after a few moments, it dies down again. “I’m happy for all three of you and I can only hope that the rest of us fuckers will be as lucky as all of you when the time comes for us. Let’s hear it for Thor, Dragon, and Timber!”

Cheers ring out again as everyone takes a shot. The alcohol burns down my throat, but I barely feel it.

I’m getting married tomorrow.

It’s nearly midnight when I leave the clubhouse and head toward Levi’s house. I’ve got a good buzz going, but I’m not as drunk as some of my brothers who will definitely be feeling it tomorrow.

I paced myself because I wanted to remember everything tomorrow and not be wincing at every bright light or sound.

As I climb the steps up to Levi’s house, I can hear laughter from inside.

I knock and then enter. Instantly their laughter dies down and I hear some ruffling of pages or something.

“Is it okay to come in?”

After a few moments, Mae comes out of the living room into the hallway, sliding the last foot or so in her socks on the hardwood floors before coming to a stop right in front of me. Briefly, I worry the action pulled at her stitches, but I don’t see her wincing or her eyes tightening with pain. Instead, they are bright and a huge smile lights up her face.

“Hey!” she says before pulling me down and kissing me like her life depends on it.

I’d been sporting a semi all night thinking about marrying her tomorrow and this kiss has me hard as steel for her.

“Bow-chicka-wow-wow,” Sasha sings sassily, which has the ladies laughing again.

Pulling back, I set her back down on the ground. “Do you need to still figure some things out, or can I take you home?” My voice comes out huskier than normal and her pupils dilate instantly. Fuck, I need to get her home.

“Let me just grab my things. I’ll need to come over tomorrow after breakfast.”

“Not a problem, Sunshine,” I tell her before leaning in closer. “But get your ass moving before I throw you over my shoulder and haul you home with my hand on your ass.”

A shiver works through her before she rushes back into the living room and a few moments later, reappears with her backpack.
