“Of course,” I said quickly and walked toward her. “I just need you to stand, just right there,” I whispered as I stood her in the perfect position. “I know your feet are likely going hurt, but we will all take a break every thirty minutes for you.”

“For me? I bet I can stand for more than thirty minutes. Many believe I am still fit enough for a marathon.”

“Certainly, if you want to stand more than that, just tell me. I am happy to draw as long as you keep standing.”

Eve smiled and frowned suddenly. “So, how will my expression be? Smiling or whatnot?”

“You have had some portraits where you were smiling. Maybe we can make an exception with this?”

“All right then.” She said and smiled.

“Perfect,” I muttered as I stepped back and took another look at her. “Just perfect. Give me a moment please, I am going to grab everything that I need.”

I rushed toward the table, picked up my phone, and took a few pictures of her. “Thanks,” I whispered and took the phone down.

Slowly, I reached towards the canvas, sat on the tall chair, looked at the toll beside me, and sighed, trying to calm myself and begin the job.

“I still wish my son was here, he would have liked to see the progress,” Eve said with a slight shake of the head while maintaining her position and expression.

“He must be halfway through his journey. Maybe he will meet us when he’s done.”

I quietly smiled and began to get my tools ready, glad about the fact that he was not here with us. I was sure if he were, there would be no way that I would be able to concentrate on what I was doing. It was barely twenty-four hours ago that I was moaning to his strokes while he broke my virginity.

Sharing those sensual moments last night with him was already bad enough, and having him stand alongside me, watching me while I did my job, would be a torturous moment that I was not yet ready for.

“Do you think he is going to meet us soon, Ella?” Eve asked, directing the question at her daughter.

“Hard to say, but even if he doesn’t, maybe he will tomorrow if we do not finish today.”

Eve’s gaze changed, and she clapped slightly. “Good, sounds wonderful. You know he was the one that chose this outfit, so I think he deserves a chance to see it,” Eve said.

“Yes, of course,” I said with a nod, moving my gaze away from her back to the canvas. “Are you ready, ma’am?”

“Yes.” She replied excitedly. “I cannot wait to see the magic you can create.”

I smiled and reached for the pencil, sat on the chair, and took a look at Eve. The room was well-lit, allowing me to see every detail in Eve’s clothing and body structure.

She wasn’t a thick woman, had a killer shape, and was sure doing a very good job keeping it under maintenance. The design of her outfit and the intricate stitches used to create it were sheer brilliance.

A few minutes later, I was done seeing every detail I wanted to see. Slowly, I reached my hand to the canvas, said a quick prayer, and began the process of drawing her.

CHAPTER TEN

MASONBLACKWOOD

I unbuckled the seat belt when the jet touched down and began moving through the runway until it stopped. I took a heavy breath, turned, and checked my watch. It was two in the afternoon, meaning we spent roughly three hours in the air.

I closed the MacBook, placed it in the small case, and returned it to its original location.

I stretched and yawned, feeling slightly tired even though I had briefly slept on the jet. The female hostesses lined up toward the exit and smiled while Dave, the pilot, opened the cockpit and moved out with a smile.

I stood, adjusted my suit, and began to walk close to them.

“I hope you enjoyed the flight, sir?” Dave asked.

“Of course,” I replied and stretched out my hand for a shake which he took with both hands. “Keep the bird ready, though. I don’t think I will be long where I am going to.”

“Of course, we will be waiting patiently for you.”
