“You know, don’t you?”

“Long before it was appropriate.” He placed his hand over mine and moved my hand faster up and down.

“At the track meet where you guys broke the Texas high school 4x100 relay record.” I shifted and knelt between his spread legs. “I never screamed so loud in my life. You put everything you had into the race. At the end, you lay sprawled out on the track with the guys celebrating around you.

“I was so scared you were hurt. I couldn’t understand why no one was helping you. Then you sat up and looked around. Bishop helped you stand, and you turned toward the crowd. Your eyes scanned the place as a smile crept up the sides of your mouth. You saw me, winked, and gave me a thumbs-up.” I made a thumbs-up with my free hand and he grabbed my hand and kissed it. “Even in all that chaos, you checked on me to let me know you were all right. At least that’s the story I made up. You could have been looking at the girl wearing the T-shirt with your name on it.” I shrugged and stopped stroking him.

“You know that’s not true.” He grabbed the side of my face and pulled me close. “I knew you’d be worried about me. Just like all those times you would be sitting in the corner or at the top of the stairs or on the balcony in the back of your house watching us in the pool, I saw you.” His lips slid across mine. He tilted my head and deepened the kiss. My toes curled.

He leaned back and winked.

I leaned over and kissed his chest and down his abs. I slid my legs back and lay flat on my stomach and kissed his cock.

He winced. His eyes hooded.

I wrapped my lips around the head and sucked. Ricky caressed my cheek as I slid him into my mouth, taking him slow.

“Oh fuck. So good,” Ricky groaned. “Yeah, just like that.”

A memory popped in my head, and I blinked and bit my lip to keep from laughing.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” I shook my head. “Just remembering something that now makes sense.”

Giggles woke me. I crawled out of bed and placed my ear to the wall. Bishop’s room was next to mine.

“Shh.” I heard his voice, “my little sister’s asleep in the next room.”

More giggles. I was about to give up on eavesdropping when I heard his voice.

“You really are easy, aren’t you?” Followed by a groan and more giggles. I wasn’t sure what I was listening to, but a pit formed in my stomach.

“Ow, fuck,” Ricky loud whispered. “Watch the teeth!” The giggles stopped.

I had no idea what they were doing, but she wasn’t doing it right. Silly girls. I was a silly girl myself, but I was ten years old. What was their excuse? I pressed my ear against the wall. It was hard to decipher who was speaking between the chorus of “Oh fuck, yeah” and “Fuck, so good.” It made me feel funny. Someone grunted loud while the other said shh but grunted louder. Followed by more giggles.

I pushed away from the wall and scooted over to the door. I cracked it open but heard no sound. I peeked my head out as my brother stepped into the hall.

I hid back inside. Bishop walked by first, followed by the two girls. They had resumed their gigglefest. They were heading downstairs when Ricky walked past.

He stopped at my door. I gasped and scooted back. He pushed the door slightly open. Enough to peek his head in.

“Little Tree.” He smiled. I loved his crooked smile. It reminded me of a cartoon character. “What are you doing up?”

“You guys woke me up.” I stood and flopped back into bed.

“I’m sorry.” He walked into my bedroom. “Let’s get you back in bed.”

He walked to the side and pulled back the covers. I crawled across the queen-size bed and slid in.

“Where are y’all going?” I sat with my back resting on the whitewashed headboard. He folded the comforter over my lap and sat down.

“Over to Roman’s to a party.” He leaned on one shoulder and rest his hand on my foot.

“Can I come?” I asked hopefully. I’d been on plenty of adventures with the guys. My brother had to look after me because my parents worked a ton.

“Naw, Little Tree, I’m sorry.” He squeezed my foot. “It’s not a place for little girls.”
