Didn’t want to explain to King and Gunner why their women jumped ship over to team Scribe.

Not my fault I had a heavenly manhood.

It was a gift.

“You’re too damn happy this morning.” Bailey smirked, narrowing her eyes. “What are you up to?”

“Nothing.” I grinned, taking a seat. “Just happy. That’s all.”

“You’re lying,” Freyja accused. “You feel it. Don’t you?”

“Feel what?” Sarah asked, looking from me to my sister.

“Today’s the day Dimeter meets the woman he’s destined to be with.” My sister smiled as several of my brothers snickered.

I groaned.

Not this shit again.

“Face it, Dimeter.” Phoebe smirked. “You fought the good fight and now it’s time to pay the piper.”

And to think she was my favorite.

“By nightfall.” Athena grinned. “You will have met the woman who will knock you off your feet.”

“Does that mean literally?” Bailey chuckled. “Because I’d like to see that.”

“Hundred bucks the woman tells him to fuck off,” Priest quickly said, reaching for his wallet, before slapping a hundred-dollar bill on the table.

Reaching for his wallet, Gunner chuckled. “I’m going with a single mom with two kids.”

“Oh!” Bailey smirked wickedly. “I’m betting she is prettier than Scribe.”

“Hey!” I growled. “No one is prettier than me!”

Bailey laughed before blowing me a kiss. “That’s true. No one can diminish your beauty, Scribe. Too bad you can’t fall in love with yourself.”

“He already loves himself,” King muttered, shaking his head. “And if we’re making bets, I’m going with Scribe losing his mojo, turning into a blubbering idiot.”

“That was one time, King!” I groaned, pointing my finger at my prez. “How was I supposed to know she was a twin?!”

“Well, I think Scribe will fall head over heels because whoever she is, she must be spectacular.” Sarah winked.

“Thank you, darlin’. I knew I loved you the most.”

“What’s going on?” Pyro asked, walking in with Skylar and Cameron, who ran over to me, jumping on my back.

“Come on, Scribe. We got manly shit to do!”

“Cameron!” Skylar shouted. “Language.”

“Apparently, the cards have spoken,” Bailey said, smiling at Cameron. “Today is the day Scribe meets his lady love and we’re all taking bets on how it goes.”

Pyro quirked an eyebrow at me before grinning evilly. “A thousand dollars says he fucks up and needs our help.”

“You’re meeting your T.F.B. today?” Cameron asked.

“His what?” Skylar responded, looking from her brother to me, frowning.
