I nod, then feel a sense of loss which unsettles me.

Is she leaving already?

I must have the question written all over my expression as she laughs and says, “Aww, Jaxon, separation anxiety?”

“Hey, no attachments, remember?” I wave my finger at her as I smile. “I just wasn’t expecting for us to stop talking so soon.”

Dude, your charm and suave has completely disappeared, and you now sound like a fucking dweeb. What’s wrong with you? Upset that a woman is leaving you?

I take a sip of water and stand, putting on my nonchalant tone. “But, fair enough. We had a lot to drink. At least I can relax in the spa.”

Abigail’s eyes widen, and a smile grows.

“Yes! I totally forgot about the pool and spa here! Wait, there should be a sauna too.” She says, leaning towards me, oozing with excitement.

“Great. Then it sounds like a good way to start off this wonderful faux romance for all your fans.”

Abigail giggles and waves me off. “Don’t make me feel sillier than I already do!”

“Who knows, we may bump into each other by the spa or on the beach. I mean, bikinis are the perfect item to wear in this weather.” My eyes find their way from her face to the generous mounds that hide behind her top.

Damn, she is one attractive woman.

A laugh blasts out from her as she shakes her head. “Oh, dear Jaxon. Are you getting excited to see me in a bikini? Well, that may be the closest you’ll get to seeing B1 and B2.” She does nothing to suppress the second laugh that bursts out of her mouth. “If you get so excited to see me, perhaps I should give you your own nickname.” She taps her chin and then says, “I know. Puppy!” Then she taps my nose.

I sense the banter getting cheekier than expected, and playfully move her finger from my nose. “Ha-ha-ha, hilarious. You suck with nicknames.” I give her a dramatic eye roll and then tap her nose back. “Although, how do puppies give kisses? Hmm?” I tap my chin, giving her a most curious look.

She straightens, and I see her cheeks heat. The reaction is ironic though, considering she slept around, so I would presume she has no shame around men.

Abigail clears her throat and says, “I’m going to head back to the hotel and get changed first.”

I sense her walls grow back and watch as she finds a waiter and tells him her room number and to charge the meal to it. Whilst I think it’s a good idea, I decide to charge it to Greg’s card instead. The bastard is stressing me out more these days.

Abigail then turns and walks off, but I don’t let her off the hook so easily. Instead, I say, “Great, I’ll join you. Your fans would be very appreciative to see you with your new beau.”

She pauses and turns around, shaking her head.

“Don’t get ahead of yourself. They may see you and think twice.” Then smirks and walks off.

I shove my hands into my pants pockets and chuckle as she walks off, checking out the view of her long legs.

The sound of another chuckle makes me turn and I see the waiter trying to compose himself. The young guy probably thinks Abigail was hot and overheard the entire exchange. He goes still when I clear my throat and I say, “She’s joking, you know. They don’t think twice.” I assure him before stalking off to catch up with her.

I might do the most moronic thing Jaxon Sunters could do-I decide to follow her. I’m not ready to let go just yet.

Ridiculous, I know. Following a woman around like a puppy when usually I would have my cock in them instead. But I like Abigail. She’s different, and I don’t have the same connection with other women. My charm was teasing. Hers was biting.

I wanted more for some odd reason. Whereas if another woman would bite and push me away like Abigail did, I would accept it and find someone whowantedto be under me. Or on top. Whatever works, really.

However, Abigail is… refreshing. In fact, she was the one watching me get sucked off and rather than feeling disgusted; she couldn’t look away. So, I know she’s not a prude. That deep down inside she can be wild, and the thought of her being like that makes me want to feel her body.

“Wait up, Pink!” I yell as I get closer to Abigail.

She pauses and looks over her shoulder, cocking an eyebrow.

“What? You thought I wasn’t gentlemen enough to walk you back to your hotel room? For shame.” I say, shaking a finger at her.

Abigail laughs, and we continue to her room. It’s not far at all, but now that I’m walking with her, I noticed our pace has slowed down. As we walk, a shocking revelation pops into mind.
