“Yes. Evidently it was a difficult time for the entire family,” Andy said.

“It stands to reason she would stay here for Brent. And that’s how you ended up here. I was shocked when I heard you were moving to Babylon,” Tony admitted.

The brothers laughed.

“Yes, well, it wasn’t quite that cut and dried, but you get the picture,” Andy replied. “And I like it here a lot. It’s about as different from Manhattan as possible. The men are becoming good friends. They’ll love you.”

“Are they all hicks?” Tony asked.

Andy stopped running and bent over, his hands on his knees. His guffaw rang out over the water, making Tony laugh.

“No, they really aren’t,” Andy explained. “Dan Chua is a lawyer, and Will Peterson is a pathologist. One guy owns a garage door opener company, and another is on disability. And then there’s me. So it’s a well-rounded group.”

“Really, I’m the only hick, then,” Tony replied, laughing.

“They are all sports fanatics, especially Dan,” Andy replied. “Do you want to see them today? I could have an impromptu garage beer party.”

“Ha! No, that’s okay. Let me see what Kassandra wants to do first.”

“I’ll tell you what she wants,” Kassandra shouted, sounding out of breath.

The men turned around to see her running to them.

“I didn’t know you could run,” Tony said, snickering.

“There’s a lot you don’t know about me, Mr. Smart Guy,” she replied, kissing him.

“I’d hug you, but I’m sweating like a pig,” Andy said. “What do you want? I mean, you said you’d tell us.”

“I want to never leave here. That’s what I want,” Kassandra said dreamily. “I’ll take the train to work tomorrow morning if you want to stay down here, Tony.”

“Aw, sweetheart, I’ll go back with you,” Tony said. “We can come back Friday for another weekend.”

“I don’t want to leave until the morning, though. Is that okay?” she asked.

“It’s fine, if you don’t mind the ride,” Tony answered.

“It’s less than an hour,” Kassandra explained. “I really want to commute.”

The three of them walked back down the beach.

“Okay, I’ll commute with you,” Tony conceded. “Then I can start packing. We can come back tomorrow night.”

She stood on her toes, clapping her hands, and it was so cute, Tony got teary.

“Oh, my love, thank you!” she said. “See why I love him so much, Andy?”

“I can see that you love each other,” Andy answered. “I’m so happy you’re moving down here.”

“And you can introduce us to everyone later,” Tony said.

“I’ll do that,” Andy said.

They returned to Iggie’s old house—their new house.

“Come in for coffee,” Kassandra offered.

“Thank you, but no,” Andy replied. “Bella will be up, and I like to spend the morning with her. I’ll talk to you two later.”
