That asshole had the audacity to snort out loud, and I felt my face heat. “Neda, can you get us the avocado maki and the tiger roll, two of each. Yeah, see you in a bit.” Still chuckling, he handed the phone back to the Orc. “Come on Kat, I’ll introduce you.” A smirk played at his wide mouth and I saw him run his tongue over one sharp canine.

I hoped he couldn’t smell if I was aroused, because if I hadn’t been before, that look definitely would have done the trick.

Roy in his natural habitat was so much more relaxed than the one who’d come to my office, and even the one I’d run into that morning.

“Kat, this is Gilliatt Clark, who’s going to model our new sea creature line,” he introduced the blue-skinned man who briefly shook my hand before turning away from us again.

Charming.

“Rafe,” he pointed at the Orc, “and Callum, the man who can make us all look less like idiots.”

The curly haired cutie gave me a charming grin. “Y’all are makin’ it easy for me. Hi, it’s good to meet you, Kat. Aren’t these boys the prettiest?”

I shook hands with him, smitten by his adorable accent.

“I quite agree. It’s lovely to meet you.”

The young man perked up, flashing his bright white teeth at me.

Gill gave an almost inaudible snort, then folded his arms tightly across his chest. For a moment, I wasn’t sure anyone but me had noticed. Then Callum sniffed, moving his bulk between the two of us, resolutely turning his back on the Kraken.

A large hand ghosted over my upper back, stopping me from seeing if Callum was all right.

No meddling!

“Kat, we’ll have another model joining us shortly, and Neda and Declan should be here soon. Wanna sit down while we wait?” Roy’s voice was intimately low in my ear.

“Sure.”

He led me to a seating area I hadn’t noticed before as Rafe and Callum followed us.

The make-up artist entertained us with stories from other jobs he’d worked on—quite a few involving Gill, who’d chosen not to join in.

Roy cocked an eyebrow at me, clearly amused, and I loved that he’d picked me as his confidante. Admittedly, I was attracted to him, but it was so enjoyable to spend time with him and the two men. Rafe soon became absorbed by his phone and barely joined in on the conversation, so it was just Callum, Roy, and me talking and laughing. I could have listened to the two men forever, Callum with his drawl, Roy with the tiniest Scottish lilt that I was able to detect for the first time.

It wasn’t too long before Neda, a gorgeous woman with green skin and tiny tusks, and Declan arrived, laden with takeaway bags.

“Hey, boss. I called Lew, he’s on the way,” Declan told Roy when he handed him our boxes.

Roy nodded, clapped a hand on his PA’s shoulder and steered him over to where all the others had taken their seats, eyeing the boxes of sushi like vultures.

“Wow, I might need the address of that place. That’s the best I’ve had in months,” I groaned after I’d inhaled half a tiger roll, only to look up and see the Tigris watching me intently out of narrowed eyes.

Before he could say anything, the lift arrived. Breaking our eye contact, I automatically looked over to see who’d step out.

Holy shit.

A Tigris with white fur, even more massive than Roy, with the brightest blue eyes I had ever seen, approached our little party.

Where Roy’s stomach was flat and ribbed with abs, the white tiger was built like a bouncer at a club—a barrel-chested big boy, hot as fuck.

“Hey, bud,” Roy growled, a goofy grin on his face as he jumped up and swept the new guy into a bone-crushing hug.

“Hey, asshole.” The other Tigris shook his head, but clapped Roy on the back nonetheless. They let go of each other and turned around at me.

“Kat, this is Lewis, my big brother. Lew, Kat’s our account manager for the new shop and website.”

I grabbed the offered paw, feeling the bright blue eyes give me a once-over, lips curling in a predatory smile.
