“I tried to gauge what kind of ring you’d like from your friends.”
“Such a sneak!” She giggles, holding her hand out to admire it. “So, we’re engaged?”
“Well, I guess it means we are.”
“Wait!”
My heart stops in my chest momentarily as I glance at her quickly.
“You said something about getting hitched on the island now?”
I grin like the cat that got the cream and shrug like that’s the most normal thing in the world to do on vacation.
“Ash? Are you serious?”
“Baby, I wouldn’t say it if I wasn’t.”
“We’re going to get married here now?”
“If you want to.”
“What about our friends and family?”
“We can have a proper wedding with them. Maybe we can all come back to Hawaii. But I want to do it now, just us. What do you think?” Just as I say it, my dick decides to emerge between us, making no bones about the fact I’m excited. We both look down at it.
She giggles. “I think that’s a yes!”
“That’s the best news I’ve ever heard,” I muse, feeling ten feet tall and then some. I cannot wait to call her my wife. It can’t come soon enough. “Now, little one, where were we?”
“Right here,” she giggles, reaching up to kiss me. And once more I’m home.
