"Kelsey was right. You do talk too much," he mutters.

"Why does Gray talk too much?" Wes asks, coming up behind us with his stick in hand.

"He's talking about Theo's girl."

"You should handle that situation already," Wes says, eyeing Theo critically.

"What the fuck?" he growls, turning his glare on Wes. "You and Upchuck got lucky in love. That doesn't make you idiots experts."

"Yeah, but who is getting laid by the women of their dreams tonight and who isn't?" Wes asks and then pats Theo on the chest when he frowns. "Exactly. Handle your shit."

"Easy for you to say," Theo mutters and then scowls at all three of us before skating off.

"Poor bastard," Jonas says. "I'm never fucking falling in love."

Wes and I share a look and then laugh. His big ass will probably fall harder than anyone. Whoever she is though, I hopeshe can keep up with him. He's got more energy than anyone I've ever met.

"What?" Jonas scowls.

"Falling in love is fucking great," Wes tells him and then jerks his head in my direction. "Just ask Upchuck here. He's been following Camila around like a dog in heat all day."

I shrug instead of denying it. I have been following her around all day.

"Hey. Important question," Jonas says, looking at me.

"What?"

"Did you remember to put lotion on your ass so you aren't scratching it the whole game?"

Wes doubles over with laughter.

"Man, fuck both of you," I say, discreetly flipping them the bird and then skating toward the bench. I don't know why I didn't think about the condition of my ass before I dropped my pants in the locker room at practice this morning. The entire team has been fucking with me since.

I open the gate and step into the box.

Camila's sepia eyes land on me and light up. As soon as they do, I forget all about the assholes still laughing where I left them. Someone found her a jersey because the Predators logo is stretched across her gorgeous tits in a way that's making my cup dangerously uncomfortable.

"Nice jersey," I mouth, squeezing through Kris and Kellan to reach the Plexi-glass partition behind the bench. I place my hand on the glass, wishing I could reach Camila through it, but with the way pucks go flying around here, it's too risky not to have the barrier up to protect the fans.

"You like?" She does a little twirl, showing off my name and number on the back. "Kelsey gave it to me."

"I definitely like," I say, letting go of the barrier.

She grins at me.

Kelsey stops staring at Kris and turns to me and Camila. She's being weird today. Usually, she would have threatened to murder at least one of us by now, but she's barely said anything all day. "Rhonda's interview airs soon," she says. "I'm headed back to the locker room to watch it."

We already decided that I wouldn't watch it until after the game. We need this win, which means I need my head in the game. But I'm glad Kelsey is going to watch it when it goes live in case we need to do damage control. She and Camila are both adamant that I can't just ignore it, but we'll see.

"I'll do what I can," she promises me.

"Thanks, Kelsey."

"She's being weird," I tell Camila once she's out of earshot.

"How so?"

"She didn't threaten to kill me, for one," I say, frowning as Kris jumps over the boards and takes off down the ice in the same direction Kelsey is going. Is he following her? Did something happen between them?
