Biting her lip, her face the color of her ass, she nodded. “Yes, Sir. I understand.”

CHAPTER 12

Shane

We found the bastard.

Shane sat with Phantom, Jay, Rider, and Mitch aboard the same private plane that had taken him and Frankie to Valhalla two weeks ago. They were returning to Washington State to set the trap that would finally give him to them.

Frankie had fought like a cornered cat when he told her she was staying behind. A thorough spanking and the threat of marching her outside to cut her own switch swayed her into submission. Things had been going very well between the two of them for the last week. He made sure to keep her ass warmed and bring her to orgasm at least once a day, which kept his hellcat tamed.

Truth be told, he enjoyed their time together. She was feisty and intelligent, fun to be around, and constantly made him laugh. Daily, he reminded himself, it could be worse, way worse. He had married a beautiful woman who challenged him and kept him on his toes.

The plane took off, and everyone was strapped in and quietly engaged in personal activities. Luckily, two special forces operators, friends of Phantom’s, were staying on Valhalla duringtheir leave and had agreed to keep watch over Frankie, just in case.

Jay had laid a trap, setting up digital clues for the whereabouts of the tiara, and Emanuele had snatched them up, like a mouse to cheese. Tracking the IP addresses and towers they pinged off, he narrowed down Emanuele’s whereabouts. He was still in Washington.

Recruiting the help of Shane’s cousin, they had reached out to Emanuele and offered Frankie for ransom, assuring Emanuele they didn’t want her to begin with. They were willing to trade her for the men responsible for killing their family. Emanuele, who didn’t know they knew he was the one in charge, jumped at the opportunity to get his hands on Frankie.

Jay hacked their computer and saw the trap they were laying for Shane’s team, which had made the men laugh. Emanuele and his men thought they were one step ahead of the O’Briens, when in reality, it was O’Brien and his crew who set the trap, and Emanuele was walking right into it.

Shane’s cousin and his men would have vests, weapons, and vehicles ready for them when they landed. They were going straight to the meet. If everything went well, in a few hours, Emanuele would cease to be a problem. Shane went over the plan in his head again, then Plans B and C. The idea was to get rid of the evil, get back into the vehicles to return to the airport, and be home on Valhalla by dinner.

By tonight, Shane and Frankie would be free to start their lives together without having to look over their shoulders. The first thing they’d have to do was properly bury their loved ones. Then Shane would bring Frankie to California, get her a military-dependent ID, introduce her to his friends and their wives, and return to some sense of normality.

If you could return to normality after losing all your family and being forced to marry. They’d have to find their own normal.

Thankfully, Frankie was safely tucked away on Valhalla, so there wouldn’t be any distractions today. Get in and get out, no complications—that was the plan. There were more of them than the enemy. They outnumbered and outsmarted them. All the men on the plane had been combat-tested and gone up against worse men than Emanuel.

“What the hell?” Phantom’s shout had everyone jumping from their seats, pulling their weapons, and turning toward the bathroom.

Frankie’s hands went straight in the air. “It’s just me! Don’t shoot.”

He was going to kill her.

Frankie

She was in so much trouble.

The look on every man’s face told her so. They put their weapons away, so at least they wouldn’t shoot her.

She was supposed to be safe on Valhalla.

Instead, she had stowed away and come with them. She wasn’t about to let them confront Emanuele without her. She wanted to look into the eyes of the man who ordered her family killed. She needed to know why. She needed to see for herself that he paid for what he had done.

Arguing her points with Shane had been moot. He said no, then spanked her when she tried to talk him into letting her tag along, threatening to cut a switch from the woods if she didn’t stop—apparently, that would hurt more than even his belt. She shuddered at the thought.

The look he gave her now had her questioning her resolve to come along—switch or no switch. It was the same look Jay,Mitch, Rider, and Phantom wore. Well, only one of them would be spanking her.

“I swear to God, if you were my wife, you wouldn’t be sitting for a week!” Rider exclaimed.

“A week? A month of Sundays!” Jay said.

“Seriously?” Her mouth dropped open. “You all… all of you… you all spank?” She looked at Mitch and Phantom, who were nodding their heads.

“You will be damned lucky if I don’t pull your pants down and pass you around the circle!” Shane exclaimed. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

“I told you last night!”
