“Get dressed so we can leave.” I got dressed and packed some clothes before leaving to Jacksonville.
Present Day
When I woke up Christopher wasn’t in bed I’m not surprised after what happened last night. That was the most horrible thing I have ever seen in my life. I got up and got dressed. Hopefully, there’s some good news. I walk downstairs when I get a message from Ray.
Ray- Please tell me they don’t know who sold the girl the drugs last night.
This can’t be good.
Nicole- I don’t know they might I’m not sure why?
Ray- Shit. You need to stop them from getting him. ATF and the department are going after the guy as we speak.
Nicole- Fuck. Thanks for the heads up.
I grab my car keys and rushed out the door and into my car. I drove straight to the clubhouse. When I got there they were just leaving, looks like I made it on time.
“Baby this is not the right time.” Christopher says softly.
“Yes, it is. Go back inside please.” I got another message from Ray.
Ray- By the way she has nothing concrete nothing that will send them away unless they go after this guy then they are fucked.
Now I just need to convince them not to do anything this is going to be a piece of cake.I walk behind them as they all walk back in the clubhouse.
“Nicole, what’s going on?” Daniel asks.
“You cannot go after the man who sold the girl the drugs, ATF and everyone at the station is going after him. Plus ATF has nothing concrete on you guys, but if you go after him you guys are fucked.”
“So what you're saying is you want us to do nothing?” Spencer says angrily.
“Yes I am, think about the kids if you do this you all will go to prison and the kids will be raised without their fathers, do you really want that for them?” Spencer sits down on the couch.
“She’s right you know and you all should listen to her. I’m a fucking great lawyer but if you all fall into a trap with ATF there’s nothing I can do for you.” Finn says in a strong tone, thank God someone who can talk sense to them.
“What the hell are we going to do then? We are not going to let River Falls go down with drugs again.”
“Nicole that friend of yours how can he help us make sure this doesn’t happen?” Daniel asks.
“I will see if there’s anything he can do, but right now he’s a bit busy.”
“Doing what?” Toby asks in a strong tone.
“That’s none of your business Toby the man has a life and he’s doing me a favor by helping my family plus finding information, it’s not easy. He needs to be careful in finding the information we need.”
“Sorry, Nicole I hear you.” They all sat down and I finally get to relax knowing that they are standing down.
“Nicole this friend of yours can I meet him?” Spencer asks.
“No.” I say quickly the fact that Ray is a cop and giving me information is not something I want them to know about.
“Why not?” Jasper asks.
“Because I said so. There’s no need for any of you to meet him. It’s just better for everyone if you guys don’t.”
“What do you think we are going to do to him?” AJ says. I rolled my eyes.
