“Nothing. Christopher!”
“Alright guys let it go she’s not going to give in.” Christopher walks over and kisses my forehead.
“I don’t need to worry about you guys doing anything stupid.”
“No, you don’t we are standing down for now.” Thank God.
“Good. I promise I’ll get in touch with him and see where he’s at in helping us keep our town safe.” I tell them with a smile.
“You really think everything will be fine, don't you?” JJ asks.
“I do. I trust him, he loves this town as much as we do, everything will be okay.”
“Alright I trust you and since you trust him we have nothing to worry about.”
“Exactly.” They all start to relax and that makes me relax. My phone goes off and the guys all looked at me.
Ray- We have a problem.
Nicole- What’s the problem?
Ray- They just released the guy that bitch is setting a trap for the guys by letting him go. We did get information out of him and it’s not good Nicole we need to make sure that drugs don’t get back in our town we just need to be smart about this so they don’t get sucked into her trap.
Nicole- Fucking hell. What do you have in mind?
Ray- I don’t know yet, but I need you to make sure they don’t go anywhere near him.
Nicole- I’ll take care of it. They are not going to like this and they are going to want a plan.
Ray- I know and I will figure something out don’t worry.
Nicole- I’m counting on you and stay safe.
I look up at them and they can tell something is wrong. This is going to suck trying to convince them to not do anything just yet.
“Baby what’s wrong?” Christopher asks.
“They let him go. You guys need to stay away from him, it’s a trap for all of you. You can’t go anywhere near him. We will figure out a plan to keep our town safe, but until then don’t go anywhere near him.” Their faces went from calm to rage to pure rage.
“You can’t be fucking serious?” Toby says in anger.
“We need to be smart about this. None of you can engage with him at all, we will come up with a plan to deal with this.”
“Fine. What does your friend have in mind?” Spencer asks.
“Nothing at the moment just that you guys don’t get involved for the time being.”
“You guys heard her, stay the fuck away from him.” Spencer yells. They start bickering and Spencer slams his hands on the table they all went quiet.
“We will stand down for the time being so we can come up with a plan and I don’t want to hear no one bitching about it. We are not going to fall into that fucking trap.”
“Yes, sir.” They say in unison. We need to come up with something before they all lose their shit, I don’t blame them our town is being invaded and that is not okay at all. The door opens and the kids ran in and the vibe in the room change thank God for the girls bringing the kids here they all needed this. The guys start playing with the kids and I walk over to the girls.
“You came at the best time, they need this.”
“Happy to help.” They say in unison.
“So when are you and Christopher going to have a baby?” Lydia asks and I laugh.
