Chapter Seven

As we are sitting around the table we are still trying to come up with a smart plan to keep drugs out and deal with the Ocean Bay without giving ATF what they want and what they want is us in prison and that is not happening.
“Did Nicole get in touch with her friend and see if he has got any ideas?” Henry asks.
“Not yet, he was working on getting some more information at the time.”
“I don’t see why we can’t just meet the guy.” Toby says with irritation.
“Nicole has a reason for it as long as the guy is willing to help us I don’t see the fucking problem.” I yell.
“I trust Nicole if she thinks this is the best way then we are going to respect her wishes.” Henry says in a strong tone. Everyone is stressed out right now even though the guy is behind bars now, he is still the only guy who knows what they are planning to do and we need more information. My mind is all over the place and I need to see my girl before I lose my fucking mind with all this fucking stress in this room, it’s overwhelming being in a room filled with everyone stressed and irritated.
“Is there anything else you need from me?”
“No you can go before your head explodes Christopher.”
“Thank you.”
“I’m coming with you.” Finn says. Jesse has a fight tonight and Finn has not missed one since he came home. We get into the car and I drove to the club. When we are a block away we hear an explosion and we see smoke coming from the club. Our eyes widen, we look at each other and I step on the gas getting there in three minutes. Finn and I jump out of the car then run into the building. Smoke in the air, bodies all over the place.
“Nicole.” I yelled.
“Jesse.” Finn yells it was hard to see anything. God please let them be okay I can’t lose anyone in my family. I finally got my girl I can’t lose her now. We looked around trying to find them and that’s when I spotted Nicole bleeding.
“I found Nicole.”
“I got Jesse.” Finn yells. Thank God.
“Baby come on, open your eyes for me.” There’s a piece of metal sticking out of her stomach. I picked her up, Finn and I carry them out of the building. Fire trucks and ambulances are arriving, they took Nicole and Jesse and we drove straight to the hospital. When we got there Nicole went straight into surgery and we are waiting on news of Jesse. Finn calls everyone as I pace the hallway. A doctor walks out of Jesse’s room and I walk up to him.
“How is he?”
“He has a concussion a sprained wrist and he needed twenty stitches to close up his wound on his side but he is fine.” Thank God.
“How about Nicole William?”
“Nicole is still in surgery things are going well they said she will make a full recovery.”
“Thank you doctor.” I sat down next to Jesse and he tries to stand up, but I push him down.
“Don’t even think about it Jesse.”
“How is Nicole?” he asks, being very worried.
“She’s in surgery they say she will make a full recovery.”
“That’s good news. Before the explosion Nicole messaged me asking me to come top side there was a guy that gave her bad vibes and when I went to go check it, things went to hell.” Jesse winces when he tries to move.
“Stop moving.” Sonny and Andrew rush into the room.
“I’m okay don’t freak out.” Jesse says. Sonny has worried written all over his face. Sonny grabs Jesse face and he smiles.
“Sonny I’m okay I promise.” Jesse leans in and kisses they are making great progress in there relationship. I walk out of the room to give them some privacy. Nicole is out of surgery. I grab a chair and place it next to her bed and sat down waiting for her to wake up. Daniel walk in the room trying to stay calm and brave, but I know my brother better than anyone, he’s worried about her and for that fact we can’t and won’t sit this one out.
“Nicole is okay, the doctor says she will make a full recovery. We need to find this son of a bitch Daniel and I mean now.”
