“How much drugs?” I ask curiously.
“We don’t know yet we will have to wait until the shipment comes in.”
“Okay what’s going to happen now?”
“Don’t know yet we will figure that out after we deal with that drug shipment.” Those drugs can not get into our town that shit is very strong from what I have read about it and very deadly. We can’t lose more people because of this drug that doesn’t belong in River Falls.
“Don’t worry we will take care of the drugs. Our town will not get taken over by them and their drugs, we won’t let that happen.” I nod my head. Everything is going to be just fine.
“Everything is going to be okay Nicole I promise.” He leans in and kisses me softly and I kiss him back. We walk downstairs and Daniel was at the door.
“Where are you going?” I ask.
“To see the kids I haven’t been around much I promised them I would play with them.”
“Sounds like a good idea we should all go.” Christopher says with a smile. Now that’s the man I know and love. We walk over to Jerome’s house. When we walk inside the living room we got surrounded by the kids I couldn’t help the laughter that escapes me. We grab two each. Lily was playing with my hair and Nikki was polishing my nails it was red and I smile remembering when Nikki polished Christopher’s nails. For the first time in a week everyone is relaxed and having fun and not thinking about the problem that needs to be dealt with. Spencer put on Pets for the kids to settle them down for the night. The kids got comfortable on the floor as we sat on the couch relaxing.
“Nice nails.” Christopher whispered in my ear.
“Thanks, red is definitely our color.” I whisper into his ear and he shook his head and I smile. Thea gives me a smile she knows how stressed out I was in the hospital I smile back at her. Snuggling into Christopher’s body he wraps his arms around me as we watch the movie with the kids.
