“So,” I began, turning to face her. “What burning questions are you dying to know? We’ve only got a few minutes before the pack will realize we’re up to no good.”

“Really?” she questioned. “You just want to spill the tea?”

“I don’t know if you noticed or not, but we’re all in, Sunshine.”

“But you just met me…”

“Look, I know Dean already explained that we consider you pack. You’re Cole’s, he’s ours, you’re ours too.”

She took a sip of her wine. “I just don’t understand how you’re being so cool about this. You’re another omega, and instead of being territorial, you’re welcoming me with open arms.”

“I’m just that awesome,” I said, shooting her a grin. “Before long, you’ll come to love me just like the rest of them. I’ll make sure of it.”

“Are you with all of them?” she questioned, almost bracing herself for the answer.

“My my my, someone does want the deets,” I said, nudging her shoulder with mine. “Hmm, let’s see. Miles was my first kiss.”

“Really?” she asked. “Why do I get the feeling you corrupted that poor man.”

“Only as much as a best friend,” I sighed. “Alas, he doesn’t swing that way, and it felt like kissing my brother. But we both learned a lesson that day. He even thanked me like the adorable man he is, not that he sees himself that way.”

We looked over to where Miles was directing Cole and Miller, the instructional manual in his hand. He looked perfectly in his element. As if sensing our gaze, he looked up and raised a hand to cover his eyes before giving us a little wave.

“And then you met Dean.”

“He came to town for a visit actually. We’re scent-matched you know, everything just felt right. When he saw how close Miles and I were he promptly told him that he’d be honored to be his pack too. I’m pretty sure that was the moment I fell in love with him.”

“That’s really sweet,” she said, looking away with a wistful smile on her face. “It’s great that you got to keep both of them, and things worked out here in Holiday Hollow.”

“This town is the best,” I wholeheartedly agreed. “And I have Miller too, who is a fantastic alpha. He’s always there for anything we need.”

Okay, so maybe I was trying to sell her on the pack too. But really, could you blame me? I really couldn’t explain it, but something was telling me she was the final piece to our pack.

“You and Miller….”

I laughed once I got her question. “Miller is a smoking silver fox, but no I don’t bang my father-in-law, even if he’s more like an older brother since he had Dean so young. But him and Miles make sure I have everything I need during my heats as much as they can. It’s not perfect, and I wear Dean out every single time, but it works.”

A moment of grief crossed her face as she stared across the field, her eyes caught on her mate. “And does Cole help out with your heats too?”

I had to give it to her. She asked the question without any judgment whatsoever.

“The truth?” I asked, waiting until I had her full attention.

“Always.”

“Right now, he helps out by giving me his shirts so that my nest smells right. He’s pack, he’s home. I’m not in love with him, but I love him. Of course, I wouldn’t say no to watching him jack off while Dean fucks me into the mattress, but I never invited him to join because of you.”

Summer

The last thing I expected this afternoon was to hear that Bash wouldn’t be opposed to watching Cole jack off. The thought stopped me in my tracks and had me squirming in my seat.

I couldn’t deny the part of me that was also relieved that Cole hadn’t just jumped in the nest during a heat with another omega. Even if Bash was his omega now too since he was pack, heats were a touchy subject for me.

Especially since I hadn’t had one since the accident, thanks to first my pregnancy and then the cocktail of suppressants and blockers I had immediately started afterward.

“You okay there, Sunshine?” Bash asked me. His sweet lemon scent turned slightly tart with worry.
