I risked a glance out from behind Cole as his parents approached. They had moved away from the Hollow when we went off to college. Finding my pack had been such a whirlwind that we had barely discussed our families.

"Angel, nice to see you," I hedged tentatively.

"Oh, the girl is scared of us," Basil huffed out a laugh. "You deserve it for hiding such a huge secret." He waggled his finger at me playfully, but his eyes danced with laughter.

My nerves fell away and I rushed forward, crushing them in a hug before I could second guess. They both smelled like a mix of cloves, cinnamon, and home. I'd never forget how much they meant to me, especially without my own parents around, but damn I didn't realize just how much I missed them.

When they released me we all let out a shaky sigh, reining in the emotions again.

"Can I meet him?" Angel asked. Her blue eyes brimmed with hope and I could never have told her no.

"Sure," I promised. Turning to the treehouse I cupped my hands around my mouth. "Theo, come here, baby!"

"Theo?" Basil asked quietly.

Cole gave his shoulder a squeeze. "Yup, after your dad."

"Dammit, Summer," he complained, his voice gruff with emotion.

When my curly haired little monster slammed into me, it broke the emotional moment and we all laughed. I bent down and gave him a squeeze.

"These are your grandparents," I said, introducing them. "Grandma Angel, and Grandpa Basil."

"Daddy told me about them," he said, nodding enthusiastically. "You have a tractor?!"

Basil chuckled. "Sure do, want to see a picture?"

"We have some chickens and goats too," Angel said with a wink. Theo’s eyes widened as he rushed forward, jumping up and down.

"Let me see, let me see!"

I had a feeling no matter how many presents came his way now, nothing would top this.

Coming home had been the right choice. Not only did I need this, so did Theo.

Here we had family and more love than we knew what to do with.

“Someone is excited,” Dean said, watching me with an amused grin.

“You would be too, if you got to spend the entire morning with our omega,” I said, wiggling my eyebrows. “It's our day date and it’s going to be the best ever.”

I’ve been prepping for this date even before Summer went into heat, and now it was time for me to be able to share a bit of my passion with her, out of the bedroom.

“I’m happy for you,” my alpha said. “I think she’s going to love it.”

“Don’t forget afterwards we’re meeting up to eat.”

“Sebastian,” he said, voice dropping deeper as he prowled closer to me. “Do you really think that I would forget my date with my two omegas?”

His hand came to rest firmly on my neck, his thumb stroking over my bonding mark. Dominance and lust rolled off him in waves as he waited for a response.

“I know you wouldn’t forget,” I relented. “I’m just really fucking excited and I want everything to go perfectly. You know I’m not the most patient person, and I just want Theo and her with us already.”

He pulled me into his chest, letting me soak in his orange pekoe tea scent, each breath giving me a wave of calm.
