I cocked my head. “If you don’t tell me to do unreasonable things,” I said.

He laughed. “Sof, you need to take care of yourself first. You’re not good to anyone if you’re worn out and stressed. If you’re going to walk into mortal danger, I need you on top of your game.”

I sighed, knowing he had a point. But the thought of taking time for myself seemed impossible at the moment. There was just too much at stake.

“Teo, I don’t know if I can relax right now. My father is out there, and Sam’s life hangs in the balance.”

“Don’t worry. You don’t have to do anything, Sof,” he breathed into my ear.

As if Victor had been waiting, the door to my room opened, and Victor walked in carrying a glass of water. His eyes were filled with concern as he handed it to me. “Drink this, Sofia. You need to stay hydrated.”

“Thanks, Victor.” I took a sip, feeling the cool liquid soothe my parched throat. As I drank, I noticed a mischievous glint in Victor’s eyes. “What are you guys thinking?”

“Trust me, princess. Teo and I have an idea that might help you clear your head and relax a bit before the big showdown.”He glanced over at Teo, who seemed to be in on whatever plan Victor had cooked up. When had they discussed it? I should’ve seen something like this coming, but I had been so preoccupied with everything that was going on that I hadn’t even considered it.

“And you’re okay with this?” I turned to Teo to ask.

He smirked. “No, I’m encouraging it,” he replied in that soft voice that drove me crazy. He reached out and gently pushed my hair behind my shoulder, exposing my neck. The touch sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn’t help but wonder what they had in mind, particularly as Victor sat on the bed and closed the space between us.

“Whatever it takes to make sure you’re ready for what’s ahead,” Teo breathed against the shell of my ear. “We’ll do it together.”

“So what do you have in mind?” I asked.

“Just trust me,” Teo said.

Victor nodded, a wicked smile on his face. As Teo raked his teeth on my collarbone, Victor leaned down and opened the drawer at the bottom of the bed.

Handcuffs.

Not real ones, fuzzy pink ones.

“You just have this here?” I asked.

Teo tutted. “You underestimate us,” he said.

He gently pulled me back onto the bed, his eyes never leaving me as Victor secured me to the metal headboard.

Teo climbed onto the bed, his eyes never leaving mine as he straddled me, his hand brushing my cheek. “We’ve been planning this for a while now.”

“I can only imagine,” I murmured, my heart racing.

“I’m going to have to secure your ankles too,” Victor said, winking at me. He tightened a silk scarf around my ankles,

The warm air in the room made goosebumps rise on my bare skin under his touch and I could feel it everywhere; the soft material slack enough on my skin so it didn’t hurt as Victor sat back up and looked at them both with a devilish grin on his face.

Victor leaned in and whispered into my ear, “It’s going to be an intense experience, but I promise it’ll help you clear your mind so you’re ready for whatever challenges lie ahead,” he said. “Plus. You’ve always struck me as down for a challenge.”

I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what exactly to expect. I was incredibly turned on, but as I thought about everything that had been going on, my anxiety started to build. My father was out there, and I needed to make sure he paid for what he had done. My heart raced as I took a deep breath and realized that perhaps a little release would help me focus on the task ahead.

“Okay,” I breathed, closing my eyes and relishing the feel of the cuffs and the scarf on my skin. “Just make sure we’re ready when the time comes.”

Teo and Victor exchanged a smirk, and then they began to undress. Teo was the first to join me on the bed, his muscular body pressing against mine as he captured my lips in a fierce, possessive kiss. The taste of him was intoxicating, and I moaned into his mouth as his skilled fingers found their way between my legs, teasing my already-soaked folds.

I was vaguely aware that Jace and Grayson had joined us at some point. Jace stood by the armoire and Grayson leaned against the door frame, watching, not saying anything.

My body trembled with anticipation as Teo’s lips brushed against mine, sending electric shocks throughout me. I could feel his warm breath on my skin, and the roughness of his stubble only added to the intensity. I closed my eyes, trying to surrender myself to the moment.

As Teo’s fingers danced over my heated skin, I felt myself becoming wetter and couldn’t help but squirm beneath him. And then Victor joined in, his hand finding its way between my legs, teasing and tormenting me until I was writhing in pleasure. His kisses left a trail of fire down my neck as he slowly removed my pajamas, revealing my bare body to them both. Goosebumps rose on my skin as his hands roamed across my back, igniting every nerve ending along the way. When he nipped at my shoulder, a gasp escaped from my lips and I reached for the headboard, seeking something to hold onto as I arched into Victor’s touch. And when his tongue tasted my skin, I couldn’t contain my groans any longer.
