“Looks like it. Thanks for introducing us.” Blake grinned, meaning it.

“You look gorgeous,” Rhonda said. “I barely recognize you. Love. It’s like a beauty serum.”

Bella shot him an embarrassed smile.

Damn.

“She’s stunning.” Blake nodded, placing his hand on the small of her back.

Glancing around the room, he saw a ton of familiar faces and was eager to greet them all and meet those he didn’t know.

He grinned when he saw his New York cousins.

“Excuse us,” Blake said. “I’ll find you later, Taylor.”

“Squash next week?” his best friend asked.

“You bet,” he said, slapping his shoulder. It was the perfect time to ask him to be his best man. Along with Jacob.

He considered for a moment that he should feel guilty about asking his friend to do such an important job when it wasn’t real.

But not asking him would be wrong.

He led Bella across the floor toward his extended family. Daniel turned first and Blake took his time studying the five of them. When his eyes met Daniel’s, there was a slice of humor in them.

Blake wasn’t expecting that.

“Congratulations,” Daniel said, then dropped his eyes to Bella.

“This is my fiancé, Bella Montgomery,” Blake introduced. “My cousin, Daniel Dufort.”

“Nice to meet you,” Bella said, shaking his hand.

“You’ve made a good choice,” Daniel stated. “Blake is a good man.”

“I know,” she said, glancing up at him with emotion in her eyes. It hit him in the chest like a bolt.

Jesus.

They were going to get pulled into all the love and marriage stuff tonight. He just needed to keep them grounded.

The rest of his cousins spun around.

“And Hunter and Fletcher,” he continued the introductions to all their wives and girlfriends.

“Emma has told me all about you,” Harper said, kissing Bella’s cheek. “You are so beautiful.”

Blake laughed as Daniel rolled his eyes privately.

“And to have this man asking you to marry him. I’m so impressed.”

“Give it up, Harper.” Hunter grunted.

She just smiled down at Bella and winked. “He’s holding out on an engagement, but I’ll wear him down.”

“You won’t. You’re making him dig his heels in.” Addison, Hunter’s girlfriend, shook her head. “We need to move to Philly.”

“Do it,” Jacob said, joining them. He kissed Bella’s cheek and lay his hand on Blake’s shoulder. “Show me all your single bridesmaids, Bella. I will look after them this evening.”
