“With her fucking ex,” he muttered and thought perhaps it was time for another whisky. “Mother fucking Cain.”
They all went silent.
“I thought you said the marriage was just a contract...” Fletcher trailed off, then glanced at his brothers. “Yeah, I’m confused.”
“Blake’s in love with her,” Daniel declared.

“So a fake real marriage. Jesus, this just gets better.” Hunter laughed, crossing his ankle over his knee.
“Don’t be a dick.” Daniel shot him a glare. “Blake doesn’t know yet.”
“Sorry, Oprah. Continue with your work.” Hunter waved out his hand allcarry on sensei.
Fletcher chuckled.
“I know,” Blake said, rubbing his face as he admitted it out loud for the first time. “I fucking know. But that wasn’t in the agreement. And she doesn’t feel the same way. I’ve fucked this up.”
“Amend the clause,” Fletcher said.
“I think he’s being facetious,” Hunter pointed out.
Blake did finger guns at his cousin.
“Jesus, we need to sober him up.” Hunter groaned.
Daniel pushed a button and asked his secretary to get some pizzas sent up.
“You’re dead. You can’t talk.” Blake snickered at Hunter and leaned back into the cushions. “You know what we should do? A boys' trip. Let’s go to Vegas. Get to know one another better.”
He tried to get up to go fill his glass one more time, but Fletcher’s big hand landed on his shoulder.

“Matching tattoos?” Blake tried. “I’ll text Jacob. He can join us.”
Hunter laughed as he ran a hand over his face. “Okay, fine. I concede. Our boy is in love.”
