Page 57 of His to Ruin

Saint burst through the house parting people like the Red Sea ordering them to get the fuck out of his way, but Lexy and Jordin are nowhere to be seen. This house is massive. They could be in a number of rooms.

“Check those rooms.” Saint shouts to me over the music that’s reverberating off the walls. “I’ll check the main room.”

“And if Lexy’s upstairs with him?” I ask knowing full well what his answer will be. He pulls up his shirt revealing a gun tucked into the waist band of his jeans. If nothing else you can always count on Saint to come prepared.

“He’ll be picking his balls off the floor for weeks.”

I crane my neck into the open rooms checking left and right but there’s no sign of them.

I’m just about to knock on the bathroom door when I hear a scream coming from the main room but it’s drowned out by the blasting music. Sounds like Saint found what he was looking for. I breeze into the room but stop short when my eyes zone in on Jordin standing with a guy I’ve never seen before. This fucking girl. She should have taken heed when I told her she was my property. Unless it’s with my say so, no one touches my property. She’s going to pay for that mistake on her knee’s. I should take it easy on her because it’s obvious she doesn’t know exactly what I’m capable of, but I won’t. Rage fills me when I look to see Saint on some guy who clearly doesn’t know he’s about to be fighting for his life soon if Saint doesn’t stop. I momentarily pull my gaze back to Jordin. My knuckles tighten as I watch the guy she’s with put his filthy hands around her waist tugging her body tight to his chest. Her body.

“Fuck,” I groan, taking in every inch of her tight little body in the low-cut dress that clings to every curve like a second skin. I consider cutting off every finger he’s touched her with as chaos erupts around the room. He suddenly lets her go bolting into the gathered crowd. It happens so fast that by the time I follow him he’s already on Saint, fighting him or pulling him from his friend I can’t tell but I don’t wait to find out. Making my way past the spectators I slam my fist into his face so hard it makes a resounding whack. He surprises me by quickly recovering, something a lot of men don’t do often, landing a blow to the right side of my jaw.

“That one you get for free,” I sneer wiping a drop of blood from the side of my lip. Taking large steps I walk towards him but I’m abruptly pulled away by strong arms cutting me off my intended target.

“THAT’S IT, BREAK IT UP,” Chains roars.

I struggle to get out of his grip and back to the bastard that had his hands on my girl.

“Walk away Caleb,” Chains says. “This isn’t the place.”

It’s not the place but fuck it this bastards going to pay. I charge towards him again.

“CALEB STOP!” Owl bellows out holding me in his firm grip. “Don’t you recognise who that is over there? Its Maloti’s fucking grandson,” he growls out then turns to the asshole I was fighting. His friends are holding him back from coming at me again. He’s got balls I’ll give him that but its a fight he’ll never win. Not when it comes to her.

I smirk at him.

“LEAVE,” Owl orders but before they do I call out, “They won’t be able to protect you the next time I see you.”

I hear his shirt rip when he makes one last attempt to get to me but his friends keep him in a firm hold shoving him out the door telling him we’re not worth it.

I laugh.

“This isn’t over,” the guy sneers at me.

I cast him a threatening look, “I’ll be seeing you soon.”

Chapter Twenty-nine

Caleb

AftereveryoneleftSaintordered me to take Jordin home. Whether he ordered it or not I was taking her home anyway. I hear her tugging at the seat belt when I get into the car.

“Tired?” I ask attempting to break some of the tension radiating off her body.

She doesn’t answer, instead turning her body away from me to look out the window.

“Take a nap because you’re going to need all your energy for the punishment I have in mind for letting another guy put his hands on what’s mine.”

“I’m not yours Caleb, and you’re not mine. Who I dance with is none of your business.”

“I think you’ll find our agreement says otherwise. Unless you’re ready to tell Saint the truth that it was Lexy who stole his dead brother’s bike. And believe me her punishment will be nothing compared to yours.”

“As far as I’m concerned, you broke the agreement not me.”

“And how do you work that out?”

“You said you would speak to Saint and get him to leave her alone. YOU LIED!!” she bites out.
