I smile. “This.” I connected my phone to Saint’s car via Bluetooth and tapped the play button after selecting the song I wanted. Saint’s less than impressed when the music blurs to life, scrunching his face in disgust, making me giggle.

“Oh, fuck me! Pop music, Lex. Really?”

He should count himself lucky it wasn’t a Disney song. Jordin loves it when I play those. I giggle to myself, remembering the time I blasted ‘Let It Go’ from the movie Frozen on our way to school, and she ducked into the seat, desperately trying to shield herself from potential onlookers. Her face was priceless.

“Yes, really. And I had to listen to your crap for over twenty minutes. My ears have bled enough.”

“Keep that brattiness up, and I’m switching over to cruise control and dragging your ass over here to fuck you senseless.”

My thighs squeeze together at the thought. Then, my rational brain slaps me in the face for thinking so carelessly. Road traffic accidents can be life-threatening. No matter how badly I want him, it’s never going to happen while he’s driving. Ever!

Deciding to distract myself, I drag my finger down my phone’s playlist to find a more upbeat song before asking, “How much longer?”

He takes his hand off the wheel and places it on my legging-clad thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze before inching higher. “You’re insufferably impatient. Anyone ever told you that?” His fingers stroked along the seam of my crotch teasingly, and I shifted in the seat and batted his hand away.

“Can you concentrate on the road and not my pussy for once, please!”

“It’s such a sweet pussy though.”

“Your insatiable,” I scold, remembering when he accosted me in the shower this morning, less than a half hour after he fucked me in our bed.

“When it comes to you…yes. Yes, I am.”

“You’re trying to distract me. Tell me where we’re going?”

“It’s a surprise.”

“A surprise?”

He barks out a laugh. “Yes, a surprise.”

“For me or for you?”

“Both.”

Oh, I like the sound of that.

Chapter Fifty-Two

Asthecarwindsthrough the forest, the vibrant hues of early November cast a mesmerizing spell on the landscape, a stark contrast to our home next to the beach.

So beautiful.

I gaze out the window, captivated by the autumn colors that painted the trees and the fiery reds, burnt oranges, and golden yellows adorning the leaves.

“It’s just up here.” Saint turns the sound system off, and the rhythmic hum of the Bugatti lulls me into a gentle sense of anticipation. I twist my neck to look around the area, wondering what awaits.

“What’s just up here? I can’t see anything.”

Saint’s blue eyes flicker with secret excitement as he navigates the winding road, the city behind us fading into the rear-view mirror. My eyes widen in surprise as the car slows, revealing a tall, imposing wrought iron gate.

“Aww. Are you taking me for a romantic hand-held stroll around a nature reserve?” I tease. “You know. If you wanted to get me naked out in the open, I could think of warmer places.”

Saint’s answering smirk hinted that that’s not exactly what he has in mind. The gigantic bulge in his pants, however, tells a different story.

“We’re not going strolling around a nature reserve,” he corrects, giving nothing else away.

Okay. Now, I’m definitely intrigued. Maybe he’s visiting someone? Someone who clearly enjoys the private life. There isn’t another house around for miles, from what I can tell.
