The heavy industrial door to Bubba's creaks open and slams shut with a loud bang. At least one of the two people I've been waiting on are finally here.

I've been sitting here for thirty minutes waiting on them. I turn around to see Fenrir and Runes both walking in.

Runes offers me an apologetic glance. "Sorry we're a few minutes late. We got tied up talking numbers."

I furrow my brows in confusion, not quite understanding where the conversation is going.

I plaster a smile on my face, "It's no big deal. I've just been admiring how beautiful the space looks."

Fenrir releases a hearty laugh. "Beautiful? We've got a lot of work to do before the bar's ready for business."

What he's saying is true in some aspects, but a majority of the hard work is done.

The exposed brick walls have been cleaned and now they're restored back to their original beauty. They offer a warm, inviting glow that anyone would appreciate.

The high ceilings are painted black, contrasting with the couple of white walls that are scattered around the bar. Theoriginal piping and vents snake along the ceiling, giving it an industrial look.

Runes and Fenrir have used so much brick and wooden elements, really wanting to give it that hearty rustic industrial feel.

My eyes wander back over to the bartop Magnus made. It's smooth surface shines beautifully under the lights. It's obvious he took his time hand-crafting it for the club.

As I look around the future bar, everything is coming together perfectly, even if the guys don't see it. "Sure, there are some things that need to be finished, maybe even a couple of final touches that need to be made, but you can finally see the vision."

Runes clears his throat, trying to change the subject. "Fenrir and I ran the numbers, and we've come up with a salary that we think you'll be happy with."

I'm sorry, did he just say salary?

I blink at him in confusion, knowing it has to be showing across my face. "Salary? You want to pay me a salary?"

Fenrir cackles, "We don't want to, but we're going to."

Runes shoots Fenrir a sharp and piercing look of annoyance. "You're going to be managing a bar that the club owns, so yes, you're going to earn a salary. I think we should change your position with the club in it's entirety."

My heart starts racing as I lick my lips. "What do you mean by change my position?"

Runes and Fenrir look at each other for a moment before Runes responds. "I don't think you should be a hora, and the manager for the bar. There's not really a need for ahóraright now. Everyone at the club is committed except Ivar and the prospects, and if they want some ass they can go out and get it."

The second he includes Ivar there's a tinge of pain sinks in my heart.

Fenrir speaks up next, "Whenever we get more prospects we can always addhóras, but for the meantime I think having them is pointless. Not to mention, we need your focus to be on the bar. "

Runes speaks up next, "Would you be happy with a yearly salary of forty-seven thousand? It would include paid time off and benefits, and over time we could give bonuses and pay increases as long as the bar is doing well."

He might be asking me if I'm okay with it, but make no mistake, there is no room to turn him down.

I reel my head back in complete shock, my jaw dropping in the process. "I was not expecting a number that big."

Fenrir interjects with a smirk, "Hey there, we can pay you less if you really want to."

I laugh, "No, I'll take the forty-seven thousand. I appreciate you guys giving me an opportunity like this. You have no idea how much it means to me."

This is more than just a job that comes with a nice paycheck. It's proof they see how much I've done for the club over the years and appreciate all of my hard work.

Fenrir nonchalantly leans against the bartop and snickers, "You don't even realize you got the shit end of the stick,"

I roll my eyes in response, "Sure."

Runes shoots an annoyed glare over at Fenrir before looking back at me. "So, tell me, what do you envision for this space?" He gestures to the empty area behind the bartop.
