The guards walked Eden and me back to the dorm. When we first left the admin’s building, people were staring, pointing and gawking, even teachers and other adults that work at the freaking college.

Both of us started putting our heads down just concentrating on the path that we walked, trying to get there faster and away from the intimidating eyes of all the other students.

The finger-pointing and the comments don’t bother me as much as the picture taking and the videos. I just want to get back as fast as I can. Maybe when I’m on my own, I can figure out a way to contact my parents or at least get a hold of somebody who might know where they are.

“Wait here, ma’am,” one of the guards states as we reach the outside of the dorm room. The same guard nods to another one as he uses his own key to unlock our damn dorm room. Eden and I look at each other. I thought we were the only ones that were supposed to have the keys, but I guess this is for safety.

The guard goes in and checks every little crevice, and I swear he’s out within five seconds.

“All clear.” We laugh, we can’t help it, of course it’s going to be all clear, it’s not a very big room. They could see it’s all clear from opening the damn door. I guess someone could squeeze themselves under the small area of my bed.

They usher us in the room, shutting the door behind. I know guards are going to be planted right outside. Some will be planted throughout the building, probably the roof and the basement from what I overheard them talking about, others will be planted throughout the property. I only know this from listening, okay eavesdropping on their conversations with Ms. X. “Holy shit.” Eden gives me a squeeze on the shoulder, both of us sitting down on my bed.

“Are you okay?” I just want to nod my head but I shake it because honestly, no, I’m not okay. What the hell’s going on? Where is my family?

Arguing starts to ensue right outside the dorm room as both of us jump up trying to figure out what the hell’s going on. It doesn’t take that long until we can hear our other friends shouting. “They better open the fucking door!”

Eden whips open the door, slightly laughing as we spot;

Chance, Pierce and Joss right outside looking ready to hunt down and kill as many fuckers as needed to get to us.

“It’s okay,” I reassure the men outside the door. “Thank you, Ace.” Shocking the man by using his tactical name, letting the others know that I’ve been paying attention.

He gives me a nod, one of indifference and worry but there’s not much he can do as my three friends push past him and slam the door right in his face.

Eden’s laughing as the three of them pull me into a huge hug.

“Are you okay, have you found out anything?” Chance asks me as he squeezes me in his arms. Tears start to leak out as I’m forever grateful for them. They could come in here and just talkabout money or who my father is, but they know the hell I have been through and the fact that my parents could be dead.

I smile at them, giving them another slight shake of my head. We haven’t found out anything and who knows when we will. “Most of it’s out of my hands. I don’t even have the numbers for the people I need to call, I never thought I would need them.”

Chance is sitting next to me on the bed, with his arm wrapped around me and Joss is on my other side rubbing up and down my back.

Pierce is standing up at attention with his arms crossed with Eden leaning right into him.

“Let’s locate these people,” Joss states as she looks around the room at all of us. “Give us names and what other information you have on them. The guys can try and locate the numbers and Eden and I can figure out the fastest damn way to get you back to Queens.”

“Mac and Miles Stoll. Mr. Chang had a store right next to us. I’m not even sure of the store name but that’s about all the information I have.” I also pop off the address for them, where the boxing ring is located.

“My parents bought me a BMW, I’ve only driven it once because I’m horrible at it. According to maps, it’s about three hours back to the boxing club. All of us can fit in the BMW, I’m pretty sure we’ll make it,” Joss states looking horribly unsure of her driving skills, causing us to start laughing.

I give her a nod letting her know that I like the idea. But if we do this, Joss won’t be driving.

I stare at the walls of the room as my friends quietly and frantically try to find out any information, we don’t have very much to go on. Eden sits next to me on her phone, looking up my family. I glance every now and then but I look away, seeing vague images of my father in a different light is fucking with my head.

My phone starts to ring. I jump up at the same time my friends do heading for the desk where I last set it. An unidentified number is calling. Normally I would ignore this shit, but for some reason I decide to answer it.

“Hello,” my voice is low and uncertain.

“Taylor?” The deep voice travels through the phone.

I start to ugly cry as soon as I hear Mac’s voice. “Mac? My parents?”

My friends all gather around me. I put the phone on speaker because I know they’re just as worried.
