I wake up probably seconds later. Taylor is grunting, his eyes rolling. I can feel his fingertips digging into my hips, dragging me down onto him. My body is continuing to send wave after wave, and I realise belatedly that I’ve locked him.

Hot fluid runs down my ass as Barren pumps and shudders above me, driving in over and over.

My eyes widen, and I look at Taylor. Taylor jerks, I flinch, Bar cries out. Taylor’s knot presses against me, rubbing and heightening the sensation of feeling so completely full, but also stops me from not reacting. It’s too much. It’s not enough.

“Welcome home, War.” He whispers with a groan.

“I love you, Knight.” I whisper back. I grab Barren’s arm and pull his hand to my lips and kiss him. “Barren, my omega.”

Barren settles down on my back and starts to purr.

Tears fill my eyes, and I glance at Taylor, startled. His smile tells me everything is all right, his smile says I love you, his smile whispers, welcome home.

I feel something inside me relax. Something that’s been so lonely and lost for so long. I found my way through the woods. I found my place on the other side.

Epilogue- Scarlet

I wake up and huff with annoyance. It’s one thing to live in a pack. But there are drawbacks. My bladder stabs me, and I gasp. Beside me, Gold frowns and reaches out for me, pulling me tighter against him.

The most immediate and pressing concern is my constant need to pee, an inability to walk without waddling, and five huge sleeping men blocking me from where I need to urgently be.

After everything that happened, even though we all have our own bedrooms, the pack sleeps together almost every night.

I rub my hand over my swollen stomach and feel our daughter kick. She’s strong. Stronger than all of us. It doesn’t matter who her biological dad is. As far as we’re all concerned, they’re the dads. We’re a family. That’s the only thing that matters.

Surprisingly, Bar and Jet are the most relaxed. Gold has gone into full security mode, combat dad, which, though we tease him about, I do understand, and it breaks my heart a little. Maybe one day he’ll feel safe, but it’s not today.

Taylor went out the day after we became a pack, picked up every baby book and parenting book in the bookstore nearby, and has read everything on the subject. He gets this glazed, panicked look on his face when we ask him something he doesn’t know.

Acton has become my personal food dispensary, bringing me all sorts of foods that Taylor said I can eat. Even when the doctors said I can have the other food, oh, no, Taylor won’t risk my health, and neither will Acton.

Bar, Jet, and I have entertained ourselves betting and watching the others in amusement. I’ve even got them sneaking me illegal contraband when Acton and Taylor aren’t looking.

I snort and flick an arm off me. If I have to be awake, so do they.

Someone mutters and rolls. I scramble off the bed and make it to the toilet. Now that’s fixed, I focus on the other issue. I’m covered in sweat. I get under the shower and stand there, letting the water pour over me. The nights are warm, and sometimes, having so many bodies in the bed is uncomfortable. I know it’s the middle of the night, but I just need a minute to cool off.

I’m halfway through the shower when I feel the warm silk of Barren’s bond. He enters the shower behind me, lifting my heavy, aching breasts and massaging them.

“Do you want some help, baby?”

I moan and lean back against him. “I can’t reach my toes.”

“Let me take care of you.”

My omega kneels down in the shower and washes me with so much gentleness that it makes my eyes run.

“Why’re you crying?” Jet asks, wrapping an arm around me. I lean back and sniffle.

“Because I’m so lucky, and I have the best omega ever. Look, he’s washing my toes.”

I start wailing.

Bar stands up, smiling, and kisses me. His black hair hangs over his eyes. I push it back and wrap my arms around him. They wrap me in a towel and dry me off, then Bar sets me on the edge of the bed, while he goes and adjusts the thermostat. Cold air flows into the bedroom, and I relax, lifting my face to the air.

“I decided on a name.” Gold calmly announces from the bed. I still look at him and feel my mouth run dry. He’s truly a golden god.
