XANDER
As soon as we step through the door of the clubhouse, my knuckles clench around Laura’s waist. I’m on edge just knowing she’s back inside these walls.
She still hasn’t told me what Dennis did to her that night, and I fear she never will. Whatever it was, it messed with her and that’s enough for me.
