“What did I tell you?” he purrs.

I whine and move my hands from his hair as he grabs them, pinning them above my head with one of his.

“That’s better,” he smirks.

I groan and buck my hips, needing the contact.

“You’re ready for this dick, my little bird?”

I nod emphatically, saying yes too many times.

He leans down and holds one of my wrists in each of his hands. “You’re all mine,” he whispers before slamming into me with a shout.

My walls clamp down against the unexpected intrusion. But then he starts to thrust and I’m like some wanton heroine in a novel. Writhing beneath him, fighting the grip on my wrists as he pounds into me.

He’s positioned us so every time he thrusts, my clit feels the rough treatment too. The pressure builds up with no warning this time and I come hard on his cock. Locking down and taking him for all he’s worth as he comes with me. His thrusts slow as he pumps everything he has into me.

Releasing my wrists he moves a hand to my cheek. “You okay?”

I nod and say yes, cuddling up to him.

“I don’t think I can move,” I mumble as he wraps me in his arm.

“Then don’t,” he says.

I was so upset with him not five hours ago. And now I’m planning out our life together in my head so we can do that every day from now on.

A rustling soundwakes me up the next morning.

Groggily rubbing my hands on my eyes I say, “Morning, Marcus.”

Reaching across the bed my hand finds empty space, opening my eyes and looking around, Marcus’s nowhere to be found.

A squawk from the other side of the apartment makes me look over, Bird is sitting on top of the small fridge. I guess he stops by here sometimes too.

“Bird, did Marcus bail already?”

Looking at the clock, it’s only a little after six A.M. I don’t think either of us leave for work this early.

Getting out of bed, I look for a cliché note saying he went out to get us breakfast but don’t find one. His phone’s on the small nightstand and his keys are hanging next to the door.

Weird. He must be over at Laney’s helping with something.

As I’m getting dressed Bird flies over, chirping incessantly.

“What? There’s plenty of feeders outside. Wait, are you stuck in here?”

None of the windows are cracked, that’s probably it. The dang bird pecks at me as I finish putting on clothes and using the bathroom.

As I go to open the door Bird pulls at my hair.

“Okay, that’s enough,” I say sternly. “Go!” I yell as I try to swoosh the bird outside.

I hear a strange popping and cracking sound then all of the sudden Marcus is standing in front of me.

Naked.
