As our kiss ends, with catcalls and whistles ringing around our ears, I look into Phoebe's eyes and just stare at her. I can’t believe she’s mine.

“Are you okay, Mr. Camden?” she asks, her voice full of lust and teasing.

“I’m perfect, Mrs. Camden. Absolutely perfect.” I grin at my wife and she turns to face our adoring guests and leads me down the aisle. She pauses to kiss my mum, Ivy, and Dan. And I do the same, except I give Dan a hug instead. She fistbumps Scarlet, winks at DJ and turns to find me staring at her again. Instead of questioning me she just laughs. I kiss Scarlet's cheek and ruffle DJ’s hair and follow my bride down the white carpeted aisle.

We’re supposed to have our pictures taken now, but that can wait. I didn’t get enough of her at the altar and, because of Lola, we spent last night apart. Stupid bridal traditions.

Instead of making our way to the room where all our relatives are waiting to smile happily for the photographer, I pull her into an empty room.

“Freddie, what are you doing?” She giggles as my lips find her neck.

“I need more,” I murmur against her soft skin and receive more giggles.

“You can have more for the rest of your life, but right now we’re supposed to be having our first pictures as husband and wife taken.” As my lips trail up to the soft spot behind her ear she moans, and a triumphant grin takes over my face. “Fine, but you’re explaining why I need my make-up touched up,” she murmurs before my lips find hers and I kiss her just because I can.

My hand snakes up her front and gently cups the soft column of her neck as I step forward and pin her between myself and the wall. She smiles against my lips and a low growl escapes my throat. The fingers of my other hand stroke the lace covering her stomach where I know our little baby is growing inside her. She moans as my tongue finds hers and her hand strokes my side.

I grip her neck a little tighter and she relaxes into the hold as I break away from her and bring my lips to her ear. “You’re such a good girl, Pheebs. Your body responds to me so beautifully.”I nibble on her ear a little and she leans into my touch. “I want nothing more than to lift that skirt up and feel how wet your pussy is for me. Tell me I can do it. Tell me I can make you come whilst you're wearing your wedding dress, sweetheart.”

She squirms as my breath hits her ear and nods her head as I wink at her. “Such a good wife.”

Her pupils darken and she bites her lip as her eyes track my hand lowering down her body. When I reach her ankle I gather the lace in my hand and watch as it slides up her smooth leg. She widens her stance, giving me access to the only place I want to be. And as my fingers find her bare, I turn my shocked gaze to her smirking face.

“Surprise.”

“You naughty girl, Pheebs. You’ve been naked under this dress the whole time?” My fingers glide through her slickness and I groan as she whimpers in pleasure. My dick is weeping to be inside her but I know we don’t have enough time for that. Instead, I plunge my fingers inside her centre and muffle her cries of pleasure with my mouth. She clings onto my shoulder, her bouquet long forgotten at our feet.

“I need you, Freddie Bear,” she breaks our kiss and tells me breathily. Her hands unbutton my fly and she lowers the zipper. She pushes them down to my ankles and palms my length through my boxers and I hiss with relief. I drop my boxers and snatch her dress up, rolling it until it’s around her waist.

Grabbing her arse, I lift her and her legs instinctively go around my waist. As I feel her heat against the tip of my dick, I moan in ecstasy, push forward, and sheath myself in her warmth. Her tightness holds me in place and for a second, like every time before, I’m blinded by light. A core memory that I know will live within me forever.

“I need you to move, Freddie Bear.” Her voice brings me out of my head and I can’t hold back any longer. I thrust into herlong and hard. She grips my shoulders and then rests her head on the wall. “Yes, just like that. God.”

I don’t hear her words. All I can focus on is the feeling bubbling up inside of me. The sense of belonging. Of being home. Of knowing that no matter what happens, this is where I’m supposed to be. She’s my calling.

Her muscles quiver around me as she explodes her release and I can’t hold back any longer. I push harder into her, dragging out her own orgasm as I reach mine. Panting, I bring my eyes to hers and find her smiling at me.

“Worth ruining my make up for. I love you, Freddie.” She places a quick kiss on my lips and resumes her smile.

“You’re fucking perfect. Always have been and always will be. I love you too, Mrs. Camden.”

“I’d like to make a toast.” I stand in front of our guests and raise my glass of orange juice. “To Dad. We know you’re here with us. We know you’re happy and we know you loved Phoebe almost as much as I do.” Laughter echoes around the room. “And without you, I never would have realised what I needed in life. What was important. Memories. Making memories with the people you love.”

I turn to Phoebe who has tears brimming her eyes then let my gaze fall on Lola whose head is resting on Ivy’s shoulders. I find my mum and she winks at me, silently urging me to continue.

“Without memories we can’t chase the darkness away. You told me once that grief was the price we pay for love, and I never understood it. But now I do.”

Sniffles from my bride urge me to grab her hand. She stands next to me and I smile. “We’d like to tell you all that we’re havinga baby. We found out yesterday that it’s a little boy and we’ve decided to call him Reggie. After his grandad.” Cheers go up around us, sobs from my mum and Lola, and even Ivy wipes a tear away from her eye. “So, everyone, I’d like you to raise your glasses to Dad, inspiring us, teaching us, and loving us always.”

To Dad, is cheered out as everyone swamps us to offer their congratulations. My mum wraps her arms around me and I take a deep breath as she holds me. A blinding ray of sun shines through the window and hits the crystal glass in my hand and a prism of rainbows scatters around me.

‘Love you too, Dad. I love you too.”

THE END
