“How did the two of you meet?” he asks.
“He moved in next door to me,” I say. Niall and I decided we should keep our answers as close to the truth as possible.
“When did the romance start?” he asks.
I glance at Niall and he smiles. “As soon as he moved in.”
“And now you’re engaged?”
“We are,” Niall says, holding up my hand for everyone at home to see.
“Have you planned the wedding yet?”
“We know what we want, but we haven’t booked anything yet.”
“Are you doing a destination wedding?” he asks.
“No. We’re going to keep it small and intimate,” Niall replies.
“And the venue?” he presses.
“We’re thinking of having it on Lucy’s front porch.”
“That’s a somewhat unorthodox location,” Eddie says.
“It is, but it holds special meaning for us,” I say.
What would his reaction be if I told him it’s the first place I gave Niall a blow job?
The rest of the interview is devoted to Niall and hockey. He’s personable and quick witted, and I know the fans will come away from watching this loving him even more.
Niall thanks Eddie for having the interview and they shake hands once more. Eddie thanks me for being so honest and open with him.

We’ve barely stepped outside the building when Niall stops moving. “What’s wrong? Did you forget something in there?”
He shakes his head, staring across the parking lot. I follow the path of his eyes and notice a handsome man about the same age as Niall.
“Who’s that?” I ask.
“That’s Bella’s father, Garrett.”
Holy fucking shit.
Things have been so great. Is seeing him going to send Niall into a tailspin?
He walks toward us, watching Niall the entire time. He stops a few feet away. “Niall.”
“Garrett.”
“How are you?” Garrett asks.
“I’m well. This is my fiancée, Lucy. Lucy, this is Garrett.”
I nod at him. “It’s nice to meet you.”
“Thanks. It’s nice meeting you as well.”
