My hand slides up the back of his shirt, and he pulls away.

“My powers of distraction are impressive, right?”

“I do feel a little better.”

“Good, now pack, and I promise, I’ll spend the entire two hours and eighteen minutes doing exactly that.”

I look down at my cock tenting my gray sweats. “I don’t think the other passengers will like whatthatdoes to Little Duckie.”

He throws a rolled-up pair of socks at me. “We’ll getLittle Duckiea blanket… a thick one.”

I adjust myself and start filling my bag. I get all my winter clothes, then reach under the bed and pull out the box of ducks I had shipped here earlier in the week and tip them out into the top zipper section of the case. There are way too many, and several roll out of the case onto the bed and floor as I scramble to close the zipper to contain as many as I can.

“We’re not going to be on Duckie duty in Normanland, we’re on vacation.” Ian laughs as I grab a few of the ducks off the bed and shove them into the pockets of my jacket.

“We’re always on Duckie duty.”

He unzips the top section of his case with a smirk. “I guess I did sign up for this,” he says, nodding toward the door of our bedroom. On the wall beside it is a frame with the envelope I gave him on tour inside. Those words told him I’m in this. I want us. And they’ve become something we tell each other every day. Because what better way to tell someone you love them than to say,I’m ducked without you? Right now, as I shove tiny rubber ducks into his suitcase, I can think of only one.

“I ducking love you.”

He takes my hand and brings it up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss against the back. “I ducking love you, too.”
