“The skin is a little more sensitive here.” I rub the spot gently, and goose bumps rise over her smooth skin.

She doesn’t reply but nods and tilts her head for me. Only giggling as I place a kiss on the spot before cleaning it and starting the gun.

In ten short minutes, my wife is looking in a compact mirror, smiling from ear to ear as I place ointment on it.

Niccolois scribbled in a thin, delicate font, and my cock hardens just looking at my name, my mark on her. A wave of possession takes over me. She beams at me and rolls her eyes once she realizes where my thoughts went.

“I love it. It’s perfect. But don’t let it get to your head.” She leans in and presses her lips against mine.

“Too late,” I whisper in her ear as I push my erection into her.

“Your turn, Nico,” Sky says with a laugh.

I don’t even have to think twice about what I want. I hold my right hand out and give Sky a description and the exact font. She nods as she cleans the area and gets to work as I pull my wife closer to me.

Before I know it, I also have my wife’s mark on me.

ANYAwritten across the knuckles.

Our guests line up to get their own tattoos. Anya was thrilled at everyone’s reaction and willingness to participate. I’m just happy she’s happy. And grateful that we insisted on no press at the reception or ceremony.

Dinner is soon served, and my wife and I are seated at the head of the wedding party table that sits at the front of the dance floor. Families from both sides approach to pay their respects.

Glasses chime, signaling the guests are demanding for us to kiss. I use the moment to take it all in. My wife is smiling and clapping to the music, watching everyone have a good time. As she dances in her seat in between bites, I have to force her to eat so she doesn’t pass out.

Our wedding party is also enjoying the meal with us. We even added an extra setting for Grayson. I’m still wary of him around my wife, but there’s not much we can do until he gives us a reason to not trust him.

Make no mistake, if he even sneezes wrong, I’ll take his head clean off. I scan the room out of habit to ensure our men are in their places. A Triad guard stands on one side of the table, another from the Cosa Nostra at the other end.

Not to mention all the security that comes with the Violantes. We’re either the safest we’ve ever been or in the most danger we’ve ever been, depending on how you look at it.

Pulling my wife closer to me, I plant a kiss on her temple, and she turns to grab my face and leave a peck on my lips.

Not so fast.

I grab behind her neck and bring her in closer, kissing her deeper and inappropriately, but I don’t give a fuck. “How are you feeling, Mrs. Delucci?” I ask against her lips.

“Like I’m on cloud nine, Mr. Liu!” Anya yells.

Clearly, the champagne is getting to her.

“To the Lius!” Maya yells their inside joke loud enough for our whole table to hear and erupt with laughter as she holds her glass up.

“To the Lius!” the table repeats, glasses clanging.

Rolling my eyes at their antics, I join them with my glass, noticing the more traditional guests’ eyes widen in shock. I wish they’d pull the stick out of their asses and just enjoy a joke for once.

“Thank you for giving me everything I ever wanted,” my wife whispers.

Kissing her cheek and leaning into her ear, I tell her, “I’ll always give you what you want and more. Until my last breath.”

She pulls back, giving me her dimpled megawatt smile.

With a wink, I sit back at peace with my wife and family.

When her eyes suddenly trail down, eyebrows pinching, the look of shock falls on her face.

It all happens in slow motion and yet so fast.
