My phone has not stopped ringing since the season aired. Forrest was right about them not having time to reshoot it, but wrong about being able to edit it accordingly. In the end, it showed me picking all three of the men, despite Anya’s best efforts to the contrary.

Last I heard, Anya had been blacklisted from the industry.

“You’ll have enough leftovers here for the week,” Bennet promises me as we fill our plates with an early lunch.

“You spoil me, but you do know I have groceries, right?” I laugh.

He shrugs. “I also know you love Thai food,” he replies, kissing my cheek and turning back to the half dozen dishes he ordered.

Chris grimaces in disgust. “It’s not fair that you have three who adore you, and I can’t even find one.”

“You will,” I reassure her, admiring my three lovers with unadulterated affection.

She is right, though. It doesn’t seem fair that I have so much.

“Come and eat, Heartbreaker,” Gabe urges me. “We have to leave soon.”

I pick up my plate from the counter and retreat to the dining room table, Chris in tow. It will be a busy day ahead, and despite my good news, it isn’t about me.

Today is Forrest’s day.

For a long moment, I can’t move, my body paralyzed by the stunning beauty of Forrest and Gabe’s creation.

“What’s wrong?” Forrest demands, catching my awe-stricken expression. “Do you hate it? You hate it already, don’t you?”

“Hate it?” I ask, slipping my arm through his. “It’s magnificent! How did you manage all this in such a short time? You guys never cease to amaze me.”

“The building was already here,” Gabe explains, looping through my other arm as he climbs out of the SUV with Bennet behind him.

Bennet appears less impressed, but that’s because he’s been permitted to see the restaurant before. I had been expressly forbidden from ever stepping foot on the property until it was done.

“And it was already a restaurant,” Forrest adds, leading the way up the pristine red carpet toward the valet.

There’s no one at the booth yet, the opening not for a few hours, but when we enter, a dozen different aromas assault my nose and instantly make my mouth water. The inside is more lovely than the outside, a classic, modern wood décor with a hint of Old-World elegance.

The menu is all of Forrest’s favorites, with a world-renowned chef perfecting his much-loved dishes.

“Come to the bar,” Forrest says, his eyes twinkling.

Gabe snorts as if there’s a private joke I don’t know.

“I’m afraid to ask,” I mutter.

“Don’t be,” Forrest says, sitting me on one of the high-backed stools, facing the fully stocked bar behind.

I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I almost don’t recognize the bright-eyed, happy brunette. I don’t look nearly as solemn and sad as I once did.

I know who I have to thank for that.

A glass of beer slides out in front of me, a coaster appearing to protect the freshly stained wood beneath. I eye it, unsure I want it. I don’t want to be rude, but Forrest and Gabe continue to grin at me.

“I think I’d prefer wine,” I let them know.

“Just drink this one, and I’ll get you a glass of wine after,” Forrest promises.

Shrugging, I do what he asks, taking a long sip of the orange-tinged beer.

Gabe leans in. “Well?”
